Characteristics[]
Hyrule Compendium Entry
Grizzlemaw Bears are a rarer and stronger variant of the more common Honeyvore Bears. They are physically distinguished by their darker fur and gray muzzles.[2] They are highly aggressive and territorial animals, and are considered to the most dangerous wild animals native to Hyrule during the Era of the Wilds.[3] They can be found in the Hebra Mountains and Gerudo Highlands.
Grizzlemaw Bears chiefly inhabit snow-covered highland areas, such as the Hebra Mountains and Gerudo Highlands. They're one of a few animals that can be ridden and tamed by Link, but they can't be registered at a Stable. Bokoblins can also be found riding Grizzlemaw Bears in the Gerudo Highlands. When killed, they drop Raw Prime Meat, Raw Gourmet Meat and Hearty Salmon.
