Grapp is a character in Breath of the Wild.[2]
Biography[]
Grapp is an elderly Goron who is found at the Goron Hot Springs sitting in one of its pools. He dislikes being disturbed while taking he is taking his bath.[3] His grandson Dugby competes with him to see who can stay in the Hot Springs the longest.[1] Grapp expresses that he feels the water there is only lukewarm and would like to bathe in much hotter water, but is unable to due to the Magma Bombs ahead.[4]
Grapp warns Link to stay away from the Bridge of Eldin, as the area past that point is incredibly hot.[5] However, he also admits that the Bridge is inaccessible anyway as Bludo lowered it to prevent the Divine Beast Vah Rudania's advance.[6]
If Link is wearing at least two pieces of Armor from the Fireproof Armor, Grapp will be impressed with him.[7] However, he warns him to stay away from Vah Rudania regardless.[8] After Link has completed the "Divine Beast Vah Rudania" Main Quest, Grapp will encourage him to spend as much time in Hot Spring as he would like.[9]
