The Goron Stone Memorial is an Object in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Location and Uses[]

The Goron Stone Memorial is a statue overlooking Goron City. It depicts four Gorons: Daruk at the top, Darmani III carrying the Elder's Son, and Gor Coron. Originally, it only depicted the latter three, but Daruk was added in memorium of his sacrifice during the Great Calamity.[1]

When Link returns to the Boss's House after rescuing Yunobo, Bludo mentions that, while he means no disrespect to Daruk's legacy, he is eager to send Divine Beast Vah Rudania away from Goron City.[2] Link expresses confusion over who Daruk is,[3] which causes Bludo to tell him to look up at the Goron Stone Memorial.[4] Seeing the statue causes Link to remember the "Daruk's Mettle" Recovered Memory.

Three Koroks are hiding around the Goron Stone Memorial. One is found by inspecting the Leaves with Fairy Dust inside Gor Coron's mouth. Link can Race from Daruk's head to his outstretched hand in order to find a second Korok. The third Korok can be found in a Natural Hiding Spot by lifting a rock on the path below Daruk and Darmani III. When Link locates these Koroks, they will all give him a Korok Seed.[5]
