The Goron Hot Springs are a location in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Features and Overview[]
The Goron Hot Springs are a small collection of Hot Springs that are situated in the road between Stolock Bridge and the Bridge of Eldin in Eldin Canyon. They are denoted as Death Mountain Marker #7.[2] As Hot Springs, the water is warm and will gradually recover Link's health as he sits in it.
Two Gorons inhabit the Hot Springs. Grapp, an elderly Goron, complains that the water only feels lukewarm to him.[3] He also suggests that Link stay away from the Divine Beast Vah Rudania lest he get burned,[4] but also admits that the Bridge of Eldin is currently unavailable due to Bludo raising it to prevent Vah Rudania's advance.[5]
Dugby, a child Goron, can also be found at the Hot Springs. During the day, Dugby sits in one of the pools, however, due to his mouth being submerged underwater, his spoken words come out as gurgles.[6] Dugby tells Link that he had hidden a treasure near the Bridge of Eldin, initiating the Side Quest "Death Mountain's Secret".[7] At night Dugby can be found fast asleep, and will mutter in his sleep more coherent directions to the treasure.[8]
