The Goron Gear is an archetype of Weapon in Breath of the Wild.[1]
Location and Uses[]
Breath of the Wild[]
Goron Gear is a group of Weapons crafted by the Gorons. Most of these items are powerful two-handed Weapons made from thick, hard metal; these lack cutting edges, and instead rely on their weight and the force of the swing to crush opponents.[2][3]
All pieces of Goron Gear are made of metal. This means that they will conduct Electricity and attract Lightning during Thunderstorms, and they will sink if they are dropped in Water. They do not burn if they are exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate, and they can be picked up and manipulated using the Magnesis Rune.
List of Equipment[]
Item | Strength | Durability | Description |
---|---|---|---|
Cobble Crusher |
15 | 30 | A Goron-made two-handed weapon. It's made from thick, hard metal and has no cutting edge, so it relies on its sheer weight to crush all opponents. |
Stone Smasher |
42 | 40 | A two-handed weapon forged from a rare metal mined in Goron City. Its center of gravity is at its tip, so it uses centrifugal force and its sheer weight to smash opponents flat. |
Boulder Breaker |
60 | 60 | This two-handed weapon was once wielded by the Goron Champion Daruk. Daruk made swinging it around look easy, but a Hylian would need an immense amount of strength. |
Drillshaft |
14 | 50 | Goron artisans used recycled metal to forge this weapon. The tip is made from an old excavation bore, which affords it unmatched piercing capabilities. |
