They have several abilities that allow them to confuse and wear down victims. When approached at normal speed, they will teleport away from their target, appearing at the opposite side of the room. Template:Enemy The Pairodd (Kyoropô) is an avian species of monster seen on Koholint Island in Link's Awakening. They have several abilities that allow them to confuse and wear down victims. When approached at normal speed, they will teleport away from their target, appearing at the opposite side of the room. They will then shoot out a laser-like substance to break down their victim's health. Long-range weapons like arrows and bombs can be used to destroy the creature before it can teleport away. Also, if Link equips the Pegasus Boots, he can dash into the Pairodd with his sword before it has time to react and teleport away.
