Golden Claymores are two-handed Gerudo Weapons that are commonly wielded by talented sword fighters.[1] They belong to the Gerudo Gear equipment archetype.[3] Due to being lighter than they appear, they are easy to wield.[1] They are found in the Gerudo Highlands and Hyrule Ridge, either abandoned in Treasure Chests or being used by Enemies. They also have a chance to appear in Treasure Chests that spawn after the Super Smash Bros. Series Ganondorf amiibo is scanned with the amiibo Rune. Buliara carries one as she guards Riju's Throne.

As metal Weapons, Golden Claymores will attract Lightning during Thunderstorms and conduct Electricity. They are unable to be burned by Fire or a Scorching Climate. They can also be picked up using the Magnesis Rune on the Sheikah Slate, which is useful as they sink in Water.
