Quote1 A metal stick filled with madness and symbolic of doom. Its forceful strike can smash an object to pieces. Its gloom will gradually wear down the body of its wielder. Quote2
— In-game description.

The Gloom Club is a weapon introduced in Tears of the Kingdom.

Location and uses[]

Gloom Clubs can be wielded by Link, though the Gloom will gradually wear down his health, making it a double-edged weapon like the Gloom Sword and Gloom Spear. When fused with other weapons, however, it gives them a massive boost, allowing Link to use it without suffering the Gloom depletion. One Gloom Club is wielded by a Gerudo during the The Gerudo Assault Memory back when they were fighting Hyrule, while it is most notably used by Ganondorf himself, as well as Phantom Ganon during the game itself.

Trivia[]

  • The Gloom Club is a Kanabō, a type of spiked club that's often associated with Oni, which is the partial basis for Ganondorf's Demon King form in the game.
