Mimi,(TFH)[2] also known simply as the Girl,(ALBW)[3] is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.

Biography[]

A Link Between Worlds[]

In A Link Between Worlds, the Girl lives in Kakariko Village, usually found playing in a field with Cuccos to the east of the Weather Vane. Before Yuga turns Seres into a painting, the Girl cannot be found in Kakariko Village. The Girl will ask Link if he has seen any Fairies, and stating that he might be able to catch one with a Net.[4][5] After Link completes the Eastern Palace and Yuga places a barrier over Hyrule Castle, the Girl will question the color of the sky over Hyrule Castle.[6] After Gulley is turned into a painting by Yuga, the Girl will inquire where he has gone.[7]

Tri Force Heroes[]

In Tri Force Heroes, Mimi lives in Hytopia. She is friends with the Beret Boy and can often be found playing with him. She hears news from her mother that a Street Merchant is coming to town, and is excited for his arrival. After his arrival, Mimi becomes preoccupied with finding a rare blue bird in town, and hopes to take a picture of it.[8] She also becomes preoccupied with a book called the Drablands Diary,[1] and offers to read it to Link when she has it. After Link lifts the curse off of Princess Styla, Mimi says she is no longer interested in finding the blue bird and is instead going to look for something else that is blue.[9] She ultimately decides to stay with the Beret Boy, who is overjoyed by her decision.[10]
