The Giant Wallet,(MM | TP | SS)[1] also known as the Giant's Wallet,(OoT)[1] is a recurring item in The Legend of Zelda series.
Location and uses[]
The Giant Wallet is an upgrade of the Wallet that can store a lot of Rupees. In games that Wallets appear in, they are generally the last or penultimate upgrade.
Mainline appearances[]
Ocarina of Time[]
The Giant's Wallet in Ocarina of Time is the second and final Wallet upgrade, and it allows Link to carry up to 500 Rupees. It can be obtained by defeating thirty Gold Skulltulas and delivering the Gold Skulltula Tokens to the third child in the House of Skulltula. As thanks, the child rewards Link with the Giant's Wallet.
In Ocarina of Time, the Giant Wallet is a brown sack with a yellow hexagon resembling a Yellow Rupee on the front. In Ocarina of Time 3D, this was changed to a red hexagon, which resembles a Red Rupee.
Majora's Mask[]
In Majora's Mask, the Giant Wallet retains its maximum Rupee capacity of 500, which is required to purchase the All-Night Mask. The Giant Wallet is similarly acquired by defeating thirty Gold Skulltulas, this time in the Oceanside Spider House on the First Day. By defeating the Gold Skulltulas, Link can talk to Mutoh's apprentice at the House's entrance, where he gratefully rewards Link the Giant Wallet. On the Second Day and Final Day, the man instead rewards Purple Rupees and Red Rupees, respectively.
In Majora's Mask 3D, Mutoh's apprentice rewards Link with the Giant Wallet on any of the three days.
Twilight Princess[]
To obtain the Giant Wallet in Twilight Princess, Link has to collect all 24 Golden Bugs and give them to Agitha, who then rewards him with the Giant Wallet. In the item obtain text, the Giant Wallet is said to be for "distinguished citizens" in the insect kingdom.
In Twilight Princess, the Giant Wallet is the second and final upgrade, capable of holding up to 1,000 Rupees. In Twilight Princess HD, the Giant Wallet is instead the penultimate upgrade, behind the Colossal Wallet, and the maximum carrying capacity of the Giant Wallet is doubled to 2,000 Rupees.
Skyward Sword[]
In Skyward Sword, Giant Wallet is the third and penultimate Wallet upgrade, behind only the Tycoon Wallet. Link can obtain it by giving fifty Gratitude Crystals to Batreaux. The Giant Wallet can store up to 5,000 Rupees, or up to 5,900 Rupees with the three Extra Wallets.
