Giant Goponga Flowers are enemies in Link's Awakening and Echoes of Wisdom.[1]

Characteristics[]

Link's Awakening[]

They are dangerous plants which live in Goponga Swamp. These nuisances will launch harmful fireballs to all who pass, and even so much as touching them will inflict pain. For Link to rid the area of these monstrosities, he must grab BowWow, who can eat them in a single chomp, allowing him to pass by. Alternatively, he could use the Magic Rod or the Hookshot to kill them.

Smaller and more common variations of these plants are known as Goponga Flowers.
