The Gatepost Town Ruins are a location in Breath of the Wild.[1]
Features and Overview[]
The Gatepost Town Ruins are located in Hyrule Field, close to the former entrance to the Great Plateau. They are situated at a crossroads at the western end of the Forest of Time. The Hylian traveling duo, Mils and Mina, can be found here, fighting off monsters in search of treasure. When spoken to, Mina informs Link that the Gatepost Town Ruins was once a growing town, though the influx of monsters forced the residents to flee.[2]
A stone Treasure Chest containing an Emblazoned Shield can be found in the southern corner of the building in the Ruins.

We're treasure hunters, searching for a one-in-a-million payday. I'm guessing you are too. So as a tip from one pro to another, stay clear of Hyrule Castle. It's protected by things called Guardians. If they spot you, all bets are off on whether you survive." — Mina (Breath of the Wild)
