The following is a list of items found in Breath of the Wild.

Weapons

File:Bokoclub.png Boko Club A crude Bokoblin club made to clobber small prey. It's essentially a stick, so its durability is low. 4
File:BotW Boko Spear.png Boko Spear A spear recklessly carved from a tree branch. Useful for skewering fish and meat, which can then be cooked over a flame. If it's close to breaking, consider throwing it. 2
Bokoblin Arm A skeletal arm that keeps moving even after it's severed from its body. It's kind of gross to strap it to your back, but it'll do in a pinch. It's old and fragile, so it's quick to break. 5
Farmer's Pitchfork File:Farmerspitchforkbotw.png A farming tool used to collect hay efficiently. It's light enough to be used by anyone. The four prongs are very sharp. 2
Fire Rod A magical rod that can cast fireballs. The rod will break if it strikes something directly, so use it wisely.
Iron Sledgehammer This large iron sledgehammer was originally used for mining, but it works reasonably well as a weapon too. 12
Korok Leaf A single swing of this giant, sturdy leaf can create a gust of wind strong enough to blow away light objects. 1

Rusty Broadsword A rusty sword used ages ago by a skilled swordsman. It can do some damage in the right hands, but also breaks quickly. 5
Soldier's Broadsword File:Soldiersbroadswordbotw.png A sword brandished by the soldiers who once protected Hyrule Castle. Its durable blade is well tuned for slaying monsters. 14
Soldier's Spear
Torch A torch that will stay lit once ignited. If you put it away, the flame will be extinguished until you light it again. 2
Traveler's Claymore A basic two-handed sword often wielded by aspiring adventurers. Its immense weight can knock enemies shields right out of their hands. 10
Traveler's Sword A very common sword often kept by travelers to fend off small bests. It's fairly durable, but a bit unreliable against monsters. 5
File:Tree Branch BotW.png Tree Branch A branch from a local tree. It doesn't do much damage, but it doesn't have to. Great for throwing at things or for swinging around haphazardly during peaceful jaunts. 2
File:Woodcutter's Axe BotW.png Woodcutter's Axe A woodcutter's tool of choice for felling trees. Its formidable weight and uneven balancing make it a slow inefficient weapon. 3

Bows and Arrows

Boko Bow File:Bokobowbotw.png A basic Bokoblin bow made of wood. It's not very powerful but is light and easy to use. 4
Soldier's Bow File:Soldiersbowbotw A bow designed for armed conflict. Inflicts more damage than a civilian bow, but it will still burn if it touches fire. 14
Traveler's Bow A small bow used by travelers for protection. It doesn't do a lot of damage, but it can be used to attack foes from a distance. 5
Arrow A common arrow. The shafts of these arrows were carved from the wood of a sturdy tree.
Bomb Arrow File:Bombarrowbotw.png The explosive powder packed into the tips of these arrows ignites on impact, dealing big damage to anything caught in the blast.
Fire Arrow An arrow inbued with the power of fire. Fire Arrows break apart on impact, igniting objects in the immediate area. Incredibly effective against cold things.
Ice Arrow An arrow inbued with the power of ice. Ice Arrows break apart on impact, freezing objects in the immediate area. Incredibly effective against hot things.

Shields

Boko Shield A shoddy shield made of tree bark. It's not very durable, but it serves its purpose. 3
Pot Lid The lid of a large soup pot. It smells vaguely of chicken broth... Yum! It can take quite a beating before breaking. 1
Traveler's Shield A sturdy shield loved by many an adventurer. It is made of animal hide and sturdy wood. 4

Armor

Champion Shirt In ancient Hyrule, this garment could only be worn by one who had earned the respect of the Hylian royal family. 6
Hylian Trousers Traditional dress pants of the Hyrule region. The plush fabric makes these trousers quite comfortable. 3

File:Old Shirt BotW.png Old Shirt A thin shirt made long ago. It's coming apart at the seams, but it's better than nothing. The sleeves are a bit on the short side. 1
File:Well-Worn Pants BotW.png Well-Worn Pants These old pants are threadbare in spots, but they're surprisingly comfortable. The legs are a bit too short, though. 2
Quilted Tunic A warm pullover typically worn by mountain folk. Its sturdy fabric and thick gloves are great at retaining body heat. 4
Cold Resistance

Materials

Materials consist natural resources such as ore and wood, raw food, monster parts, and ingredients.

Item Description Effect
Acorn Often found on the ground near trees. Squirrels adore this nut, so you may have competition while foraging. Add one to a meal for a nutty seasoning. Restores ¼ Recover heart
Amber A fossilized resin with a caramelesque sheen to it. It's usually traded for Rupees but can also be used in accessories.
Ancient Screw A screw used in ancient machinery. It's made of an unknown material, and no matter how many times it's turned, its threads never seem to show sign of wear.
Ancient Spring A spring used in ancient machinery. It is light and buoyant enough to float on water, and no matter how many times it's compressed, it never loses tension.
File:Botw Apple Icon.png Apple A common fruit found on trees all around Hyrule. Eat it fresh, or cook it to increase its effect. Restores ½ Recover heart
Bird Meat This meat is tougher and chewier than a standard Steak. Tastes better cooked. Restores 2 Recover heart
BotW Blue Nightshade Icon Blue Nightshade A plant that grows in quieter areas of Hyrule. At night, it gives off a soft glow. Cook with it to increase your stealth. Crafting ingredient
Bokoblin Fang A sharp tooth obtained from a Bokoblin. You can sell it, but it also has other uses. Crafting ingredient
Bokoblin Horn The severed horn of a Bokoblin, a creature often encountered in the plains of Hyrule. The horn isn't edible, but you can cook it with an insect to make something useful. Crafting ingredient
Bokoblin Liver A rare material obtained by defeating a Bokoblin. It convulses on its own every now and then, which is really creepy, but perhaps it has a use. Crafting ingredient
Chuchu Jelly A gelationous substance that came from a Chuchu. It's unusable in this state, but applying a bit of electric current may change its form. Crafting ingredient
Courser Bee Honey Sweet honey chock-full of nutrients! Rather than eating it raw, try cooking with it to unlock its stamina-restoring effects. Crafting ingredient
Endura Shroom
File:Firewood BotW.png Firewood A portable bundle of firewood. You can use this to make fire...as long as you have something to light it. Crafting ingredient
Flint Strike it with a metallic weapon to generate a spark. This portable fire starter breaks after one use, but it can create a long-lasting flame if you use it near firewood.
Hearty Radish A rare radish that grows best in sunny plains. Cook it before eating to temporarily increase your maximum hearts. Restores 2½ Recover heart
Hearty Truffle This rare mushroom has a rich scent. Cook it before eating to temporarily increase your maximum hearts. Restores 2 Recover heart
Hightail Lizard A lizard that darts off quickly when it senses danger. Cook it alongside monster parts to increase your movement speed. Crafting ingredient
Hot-Footed Frog An energetic frog that can be found hopping around near water. Cook it with monsters parts to draw out its speed-boost effect. Cafting ingredient

Hyrule Bass An ordinary fish that can be found all over Hyrule. Can be eaten raw, but its healing effects are amplified when cooked. Restores 1 Recover heart
Hyrule Herb This healthy herb grows abundantly in the plains of Hyrule. Cook it before eating to increase the number of hearts it restores. Restores 1 Recover heart
Keese Eyeball A rare material dropped by a defeated Keese. It's fun to look at, but it doesn't seem to have much use. Maybe a collector would be interested in it... Crafting ingredient
Keese Wing The wing of a Keese. It's covered with very short, sharp fur. It's not much use by itself, but you can mix it with insects to make something useful. Crafting ingredient
Opal A valuable ore that's often inlaid with an intricate spiral pattern. Opal is usually traded for Rupees but can also be used in accessories.
Prime Steak A fresh, high-quality piece of animal meat. This stuff isn't easy to come by, so savor it. Cook it to recover more hearts. Restores 1½ Recover heart
Restless Cricket A very energetic cricket. Cook it with monster parts to create a stamina-boosting elixir.
Rock Salt
Ruby A valuable material mined from large stones in Hyrule. Rubies hold the power of fire within them. Can be sold for a very high price.
Rushroom
Sapphire A valuable blue gem mined from rock formations. Sapphires are said to contain the essence of ice within them. Sells for a very high price.
Sizzlewing Butterfly A butterfly found in the woods and plains of warm regions. Its wings absorb the warmth of the sun. Cook it with monster parts to create an elixir that makes you feel warm and fuzzy.
Spicy Pepper This pepper is exploding with spice. Cook with it to create dishes that will raise your body temperature and help you withstand the cold. Restores ½ Recover heart
Stamella Shroom A green mushroom that grows near trees in the forest. It's chock-full of energy. Cook it to release its stamina restoration properties.
Steak Meat obtained from animals in plains and forests. You can eat it raw, but cooking it will make it more delicious and nutritious. Restores 2 Recover heart
Sunset Firefly During the day, these fireflies stay unlit and hidden in the shade. Cook them with monster parts for an increased-stealth effect.

Food

Food consists of cooked food and brewed elixirs.

Dubious Food It's too gross to even look at. A bizarre smell issues forth from this heap. Eating it won't hurt you though... probably. Restores 1 Recover heart
Failed Experiment A dish gone awry after mixing conflicting ingredients. It doesn't taste great, but as they say, beggars can't be choosers. Restores ¼ Recover heart
Enduring Mushroom Skewer Temporarily increases your Stamina limit. A simple roasted skewer packed with delicious mushrooms. Its colorful presentation heightens the appeal. Restores 10 Recover heart
Temporary stamina increase
Energizing Elixir Restores your Stamina, which is used when performing physical actions such as climbing walls and swimming. Restore Stamina
Hasty Mushroom Skewer Temporarily increases your movement speed. A filling fish made by grilling various mountain ingredients with either Steak or Bird Meat. Restores 3 Recover heart
Haste
Hearty Mushroom Skewer Temporarily increases your maximum Hearts. A simple roasted skewer packed with delicious mushrooms. Its colorful presentation heightens the appeal. Full recovery
8 Temporary Recover heart
Hearty Steamed Meat Temporarily increases your maximum Hearts. A dish that preserves the moisture of the meat by wrapping it in fragrant wild leaves and steaming it. Full recovery

BotW Seared Steak Icon Seared Steak Steak cooked over an open flame. Cooking it has increased its flavor and the number of hearts it provides. Restores 2 Recover heart Steak
Spicy Elixir Warms your body from its core, increasing your resistance to cold environments. Very useful in the snow-covered mountains. Restores 3 Recover heart

Spicy Sauteed Peppers Temporarily raises your body temperature. A simple dish composed of sauteed peppers. High heat has broken down the spicy compound, creating a deeper sweeter taste. Restores 5 Recover heart.

Spicy Pepper Steak Temporarily raises your body temperature. A dish made by cooking meat in crushed peppers, surpressing the gamy taste while accentuating its flavor. Restores 6 Recover heart.

Korok Seed This small seed was given to you by a Korok. It has a distinct smell. If you gather a bunch of them, you never know what may happen...
File:BotW Sheikah Slate Design.png Sheikah Slate A mysterious tablet with a glowing center. You've never seen this device before, and yet...there's something familiar about it.
Spirit Orb A symbol of courage given to those who have overcome the challenges of a shrine.

Runes

Remote Bomb Detonate the explosive using a remote trigger.

The force of the blast can be used to damage monsters or destroy objects. There are both round and cube bombs, so use what would be the best fit for the situation.

File:BotW Rune Magnesis Icon.png Magnesis Manipulate metallic objects using magnetism.

Grab on to metallic objects using the magnetic energy that pours forth from the Magnesis Rune. Objects held in the magnetic snare can be lifted up and moved freely.

File:BotW Rune Stasis Icon.png Stasis Stop the flow of time for an object.

Objects stopped in time will store kinetic energy. This stored energy will be expelled when the flow of time resumes. Making good use of the stored energy can move even the largest of objects. Take note of the time needed to recharge it.

File:BotW Rune Cryonis Icon.png Cryonis Create a pillar of ice from a water surface.'

Builds ice pillars that are very stable. These pillars can be used as stepping stones or as obstacles. Use Cryonis on an ice pillar to break it.
