Hello. I actually don't want to ask about it here as well, but I figured I'd try since you've helped me once and you also did a similar thing to what I'm asking for here: [[:File:Linkspetoctorok.png]] (I guess I uploaded a cleaned version of a then jpg image, and you reuploaded it in png (without losing quality thanks to lossless compression) to preserve the original?).

So, I've already asked on [[Zelda_Wiki:The_Heart_Container#Adding_transparent_images]], but didn't get an answer. Simply put, is it alright if I upload a non-cleaned image and then immediately update it with a cleaned/transparent version? Just so that anyone who thinks the cleaning is bad can try it himself, and also to have the original file at hand. [[User:Kevin04|Kevin04]] 04:38, 21 August 2011 (EDT)

Helmaroc King article

Look i'm trying to get things right but they cannot go off the page and the model pictures i posted have to stay on the page so leave the pic on there.--Brandondorf9999 21:23, 12 July 2011 (EDT)

I moved the image for a reason. It looked awkward in the main paragraphs, not to mention that wasn't the correct way to display the picture, so I moved it to the gallery so the article wouldn't look so crowded with images. Dany36 21:30, 12 July 2011 (EDT)
Oh i didn't see that on the gallery but thanks.--Brandondorf9999 22:15, 12 July 2011 (EDT)

And by the way.

What program do you use to open the models from the wind waker? Template:Nosig

Ehh I don't really deal with messing around with models, so I can't really recommend a program! Sorry! Also, please don't forget to sign your talk page edits with ~~~~. --Dany36 11:18, 13 July 2011 (EDT)

Dragon roost cavern room

And also the room is dark when your inside with fire one. You have to go inside and see when theres nothing lit up.--Brandondorf9999 23:15, 13 July 2011 (EDT)

Reasons why they are similar.

I thought that my explanation gave pretty good reasons as to why the Snake Killer and the Master Sword are similar. For ease of understanding I'll list them here:

  • The sword is gold (the Master Sword can be upgraded into a golden sword in The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past)
  • The sword is found lodged into the ground, and was regarded by people as "the strongest sword in the land".
  • The sword can only reach full power if a certain requirement is met (compare The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker's Triforce Shard collecting)
  • The sword (when at full power) glows, and spins back-and-forth (compare the Spin Attack of the Master Sword)
  • Only the Snake Killer had the power to defeat Delarin, the final boss (and even then, it had to be at full power) and the one behind everything bad that had happened in the game. Just as the Master Sword was the only weapon that was able to kill Ganondorf, and only when it was at full power.
  • Delarin has TWO forms, one as plain old snake, and the other as a giant snake. The final blow is dealt with the powered up Snake Killer. Compare The Legend of Zelda- Ocarina of Time, where the same thing is the case.

I think that's reason enough to have it on the Master Sword article.

Tharthan 14:59, 21 July 2011 (EDT)

OK, listen: ALTTP came in Japan around november 1991, and the Americas in April 1992, long before that little game was launched. If anything, FTFTBT copied Zelda, not the other way around. That means that the Master Sword couldn't have copied the Snake Killer. If you really want to insist on these similarities, feel free to consider their inclusion in these pages. --User:K2L/sig 16:49, 21 July 2011 (EDT)

just a heads up

thanks alot for helping me out by deleting those stuff :) by the way i am NOT offended by that even though i'm new! i think i got it down now!

Name Change

Can you rename me to Wraith? I'm ~PeanutYoshi 464~ And I Approve This Yoshi.

I'd love to, but sadly, only bureaucrats can do name changes. :( You might wanna try asking Xizor on his talk page, since I believe he was the last one that did a name change around here. :) --Dany36 12:12, 17 August 2011 (EDT)
I knew that, as I am a Pikmin Fanon Bureaucrat. My intention was to find a Bureaucrat here, so thanks. I'm ~PeanutYoshi 464~ And I Approve This Yoshi.

You know

The site will give you a warning. So can you please stop or i'm going to have to report you to Zelda wiki. If your caught those times then you will have a terminated account. The reason i posted those because it shows about the models and i usually perfer them to be the same paletee as in game. Not a fan made one so i want them to be in bmdview2.

Sorry, Brandondorf, but I think the one getting the warning here is you. :) Dany36 23:18, 28 September 2011 (EDT)
Just here for an inoffensive reminder to Brandon: You need to understand that the wiki has standards in regards of image quality. So far, your edits have not met those standards yet: ""If an image does not meet quality standards (such as jagged edges or bad transparency work), then an image can and WILL be deleted or reverted." If you continue reverting other people's edits like you're doing now, you may be blocked from editing. Situations like this have occured in the past, please don't replicate it now. Also you forgot to sign. --User:K2L/sig 23:24, 28 September 2011 (EDT)
But the script wont work and it needs to be fixed for signature. I need someone to fix the script for all computers, restore the size limit for uploading images and fix every script for the site needs to be fixed.

I'll get right on it

Hey Dany, I noticed you reverted my image for Scervo. I was thinking the same thing, and I just wanted to let you know that I'm getting right on it! :D User:Smashbrother101/sig 08:36, 5 November 2011 (EDT)

Image requests waiting

There are some of those pictures that need improvement. Could you go look here and on the wind waker section. Could you go capture the images with your device which is emulator or anything and replace those images with better quality ones from the game please?--Brandondorf9999 23:30, 10 November 2011 (EST)

Come on dany36, i need a response.--Brandondorf9999 15:19, 12 November 2011 (EST)

Oh whoops, sorry! I completely missed this. Um...yeah, I could get them. But I'm not sure if I'll be doing that any time soon, since right now I'm a bit short on time to play the game and capture the screenshots. Not to mention my computer runs the game really slow, so it would take a while to get those images... :/ Anyway, I'll make sure to add them to my ever-growing to-do list. :P Dany36 15:29, 12 November 2011 (EST)

User issue

Turns out I have two users *-_-. Could you delete my other user. Is it possible if you can check if they both have the same IP... Because I am not so sure if I remember the password. Steahl 12:51, 12 November 2011 (EST)

I forgot to ask. I have been debating if I should create an Article... You know The Sky. Or should I wait until I get the game?(I preodered it :) all I need is a ride from my dad xP)Steahl 14:57, 12 November 2011 (EST)
Hello! We can't really delete users, so...I think Kajaladorf is gonna have to stay. :S As for creating The Sky, I agree. It could work the same as the Great Sea and World of the Ocean King articles. I say go for it! :) Dany36 15:00, 12 November 2011 (EST)
I will try but this is going to be a big enough undertaking. I hope you could help :) Steahl 15:05, 12 November 2011 (EST)

The Sky

Thanks :), now all we need is pictures... Too bad I have no capture card :(. Well hopefully someone awesome will come to our rescue xP. Steahl 16:30, 12 November 2011 (EST)

Hey I found more information and made Levias, the issue is that there is barely any information, and that Zelda Eterenity got their information from the Japanese website. *-_-. They take forever to update the North American one... I checked the UK one and it has been updated in a while either(But we are better off xP) I think we should get Pakkun to go there and translate it for us xP. Steahl 21:20, 12 November 2011 (EST)
Whoa, nice!! You're pretty eager for information, huh? ;) That's great. Hmm...I guess you could ask Pakkun (although I see that you already have!), and see if he can help us out. If not, I'm afraid we'll have to wait for either the UK or US update! :/ Dany36 00:03, 13 November 2011 (EST)
Information is one of the few things that keep me sane,(Another one being Zelda... so basicly Zelda Wiki is a match made in heaven xP) I hope they release more information anyway. xP We just have to wait and see I guess. Steahl 00:40, 13 November 2011 (EST)

Levias boss issues

Hey I tried to go to the boss page and add Levias. However it did not show. I guess it's because I don't have a picture? Same goes with Thunderhead being the location of a dungeon-esque, area. Oh I was wondering. Why do you have a Hiatus template on your talk page? Steahl 10:18, 13 November 2011 (EST)

I went and added Levias to the boss page, along with an image that an user had uploaded but went unnoticed. For those instances, I recommend checking either the gallery of new files or gallery of unused files to see if there are any great images that might have been uploaded but were just missed with all of the frenzy editing. :] I'll add Thunderhead to the dungeons page in a bit. And I have that template up 'cus I've been too lazy to take it down and I sort of forgot I had it? Haha :P Dany36 10:32, 13 November 2011 (EST)
Thanks :), I know I can get good pictures off the web... but I am too lazy to convert the pics to PNG and than uploading it to the website... xP, I will get some pics. If I can get someone to use a capture card.... I hate copyrights *-_-. Well you should take it off :) xP. Steahl 10:35, 13 November 2011 (EST)

Link's Loftwing

I was thinking, seeing that it's Link's stead wouldn't it make since if it had a name? If so would it be possible to find the name in Text Dump leak? I personally don't want to look at that... Darn. I really hope they tell us what the Loftwing's name is... if it has one. Steahl 11:19, 13 November 2011 (EST)

I looked through the text dump and it only mentions it as Crimson Loftwing. With red letters and stuff. :P So I guess we'll have to settle for that! Dany36 11:25, 13 November 2011 (EST)
That's a terrible name... I hope I can change it's name... to something like Epona *-_-. NoA. Do you want to make the article? Steahl 11:28, 13 November 2011 (EST)
Unfortunately, if the bird isn't given a name in anything official we can't give it a name in the article title. I'm pretty sure article titles aren't supposed to have fan-made terminology in them. The article will have be called "Link's Loftwing" or "Crimson Loftwing".--Osteoderm Jacket 18:07, 13 January 2012 (EST)

Vandal

This is a small case however as some admins know my history with this user... is colorful. Anyway could you please check on the Batreaux page history. The user Brandondorf9999 has been already warned on past infractions on his user page. Talk. knowing his maturity he will probably delete this message too. Steahl 20:05, 14 November 2011 (EST)

Force Gems

Added some for you! I still need to get a sprite of the REALLY big one, and... I'm not sure if the other big ones even exist? I think there's a big green one and thats it, unless its something multiplayer related possibly? Fizzle 19:18, 16 November 2011 (EST)

Should we add the info to the "unknown hero" and "Hylia" from Skyward Sword manga?

I was wondering myself if we could add the section of "the unknown hero" (from SS manga) on Link's page, but of course with the quote that says: "Non-Canon Information: The following article or section is not Zelda canon and shouldn't be taken as such.". And also we could add the "Hylia" section from SS manga (on Hylia's page) but with the same quote. What do you think? :D I would like a response, please :3 Ps. How do you know that the girl from the SS cover is Hylia? O.o Just asking, she looks like an ancestor of Princess Zelda....Just want to know :) --Isamisa 08:27, 19 December 2011 (EST)

Maybe we should wait until the manga is released. Although the information that Zeldanime provided could be accurate, we don't know for certain, and it still is all speculation at this point. Also, I meant that the girl on the right page (the one with the Loftwing) is Hylia, not the girl on the cover. XD Dany36 13:59, 19 December 2011 (EST).

I noticed that the girl that appears on the cover... her design is exactly the same as the one that appears in the right page (long hair similar to Zelda, tiara, long white dress, face and necklace). So yeah, she's actually Goddess Hylia (both cover and page) :3. Can't wait to see the manga. Also, since they show her, it's most likely to assume that the guy on upper left part of the cover is the past hero (from that time). For me, that's for certain...Anyway, I guess we have to wait...by the way, I made this just for comparison xD: http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee378/XOzelinkOX/rrr.png --Isamisa 19:59, 19 December 2011 (EST)

The chronology sections

Hey Dany. Since you did a little editing to Mighty Dekunut's chronology section, I feel that you may want to get updated on what's been happening in regards to those kinds of sections. I dunno, maybe MD will not be too pleased with your revision. You may want to read up in his talk page on the ongoing talk of what's been happening. The Goron Moron 19:38, 4 January 2012 (EST)

Yeah, I saw, but I'm doing what's best for the wiki and keeping the best of both edits. This is a project that requires collaboration, of course. ;) Dany36 19:40, 4 January 2012 (EST)

Thank you!

Hello there, I just wanted to thank you for helping me and Her Grace out with our edits. You'll just have to forgive our mistakes since we're so new to this, but we hope to make a difference someday :) Teekay 15:24, 12 January 2012 (EST)

OOT Bosses

Hello Dany ;)!

From what I saw, the Bosses pages is for all mini-bosses and bosses during the game, dungeon or not. For example, The Imprisoned is noted as a boss in the SS Bosses page despite being not in a dungeon. For the Club Moblin, he is unique and act as a mini-boss in Ocarina of Time before the Forest Temple (it is also writed on his page). What do you think? To me, it seems inconsistent to exclude him from this page. Itachou 17:30, 13 January 2012 (EST)

My bad, I had looked just at the OoT page and didn't think about the other Mini Bosses in other Zelda games. My apologies! Feel free to add it back in. --Dany36 17:31, 13 January 2012 (EST)

No problem my friend and thanks for the quick reply. Have a nice evening and see you around =)! Itachou 17:36, 13 January 2012 (EST)

I am actually a bit uncertain about including the Club Moblin, as while it is a unique enemy (in the normal quest; in Master Quest there's another one elsewhere) that guards the path forward, it's not actually necessary to defeat it to continue, as you can just run past it. Having to be defeated is normally a defining trait of bosses, mini or not.--Osteoderm Jacket 18:03, 13 January 2012 (EST)

It is not true, see the Mini-boss page - "They may be optional." Itachou 18:29, 13 January 2012 (EST)

As it refers to minibosses or regular bosses, "optional" generally means that they don't need to be fought to complete the main game, but still need to be fought to access something. Examples include the two minibosses and the main boss in the Color Dungeon in Link's Awakening DX. They need to be fought to complete their dungeon and gain access to the Red and Blue Clothes, but you don't need to fight them (or even enter their dungeon, which is fully optional) to complete the game itself. In contrast, there is nothing that you need to fight the Club Moblin to access.--Osteoderm Jacket 18:48, 13 January 2012 (EST)
Just to drive the point home, there is absolutely nothing else listed on the miniboss page that you can just walk straight past the way you can with the Club Moblin, except in cases where you can't walk past it as a miniboss but can walk past it later on when it reappears as a regular enemy. Everything at least traps you in an area or prevents you from proceeding until you defeat it the first time you encounter it.--Osteoderm Jacket 18:53, 13 January 2012 (EST)
