Forums: Index Help desk Technical Help needed for DSi Video Out

I have been mulling over the idea of making a unit that would allow for video out for my DSi. Having this would allow me to get videos and screens of Four Swords (as well as just being cool). Today I tore down my DSi and located the locations on the board for the 18 digital color bits as well as some of the other required signals to reconstruct the video. However, I'm not really sure what I'm doing. Looking around I think I have found a chip that would handle what I would mainly need to do with the signal. Unless I'm mistaken something like this chip would allow me to input the raw digital color bits and syncing signals and get a component output. If somebody has a better background in this sort of thing, your input would be greatly appreciated. If you know of a good, detailed, technical resource for what I'm trying to do, it would also be of great use. --Birdman5589 (talk) 02:38, October 3, 2011 (UTC)
