"Young Link" indicates the initial/youthful stage of Link's life from the Ocarina of Time's adventure; ie. before he is cast seven years into the future by locating the Master Sword (see Adult Link). Young Link is advantageous over his older form in that he can access certain small passages and the likes, although he lacks the fighting power of his later self, as well as access to fundamental equipment. The very same child Link also appears in Majora's Mask, and he is also an unlockable character in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
In Super Smash Bros. Melee, Yong Link is Known as the truest Link in the enture series or at least, in the the game itself, just like his adult self, link doesn't speak unless he is asked a question, the only tme his actually said anything is when young zelda asks of his name, when he does replay, the letters are green.
Through his adventures in the manga and video game, link doesn't seems to be annoied by Navi or Tatl in the least, and though Mido and Link seem to be rivals it's only something to noted as a small event that happened in his life, in the kokiri for, link seems to have feelings for Seria and basicly this is why mido disliks him but rather yet he may know or have the feeling that Seria my like him the same way, Link is willing to help anyone in danger and he seems to have a since of justice and braveary that no one else has.
In Majora's Mask, Link to the stage light as the main hero over the game, in the beginning it seems not only has he lost his memories but he had many things made, for example, link had the hylian shild refitted to his size, malon has lended epona to link for his far away quest he seems to have an adult wallet with him, he keeps the kokari sword but left the wooden shield behind and etc, link can now do things he could'nt do before and in that effect, his background changes dramaticly over time.

It my also be noted that link is ten years old in the ocarina of time and sevevnteen as adult in the later part of the game
Link is Unable to Use Epona in this form.
