Forgotten Foundation is a location in Tears of the Kingdom. It is located in Hyrule Castle Chasm and leads to Gloom's Origin and Gloom's Lair, where Ganondorf is fought. While going down, there are Black Lizalfos stationed which fire at Link with Bows while he is going down the foundation. In order to get to this part of the area, you have to go through Gloom's Approach and avoid the Silver Moblin and Gloom Spawn blocking the way. In the Forgotten Foundation, you find the place where Link and Princess Zelda first started the journey.
