Adding citations on pages

Hey! Just wanted to thank you for your recent work of adding citations to pages...you're really helping us out. :) Edit on, and keep up the great work! Dany36 00:23, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Sure thing! I'm having a blast! =) Embyr 75 00:25, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Multiple edits

Hello! I noticed you've been making a lot of edits to the same page over a short time. Doing this puts a large strain on our server and clogs up the recent changes. So instead of saving a lot, use the "show preview" button next to the "save page" button. It'll allow you to view your edit for any mistakes so you don't have to make a lot of fixing edits or additional ones, okay?User:Justin/sig 23:24, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Ok, cool. I usually THINK I'm done and then want to add something else... I'll try harder to minimize my saves. Thanks for the info. Embyr 75 23:34, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Skype

Hey, so you've been around for a bit and you're starting to get into the community, right? Well, a lot of us use a program known as Skype to communicate with one another about editing and other things. If you'd like to join, we'd be glad to have you in the chats with us! You can find details about it on our Skype page. It's free, it's easy, and it allows quick communication in text form! Just contact any one of the active people on that page if you get Skype and we'll add you into the public chat! Your best bet would be to contact me, Mandi, or Matt, as we're almost always on. Hope to see you around!User:Justin/sig 01:49, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Cool, sounds like fun! But I'm across the country visiting relatives right now and don't want to download anything "foreign" to my grandparents' computer. Maybe when I get back to my desktop. Thanks for the invite. Embyr 75 02:00, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Ikana Kingdom

Just wanted to let you know that you're doing a seriously phenomenal job with that page! I'm certainly going to keep up with what you add, it's been very interesting reading all of this nice and neat in one place, rather than as scattered quotes about the net. Keep rockin'. :) -- RustyCage 00:46, 4 May 2010 (EST)

Hey, thanks! =D Glad someone else is enjoying it as much as I am. =) Embyr 75 04:50, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

Autopatrol

Hello! Just wanted to congratulate you for your promotion to Autopatrol! This basically means that you're a freaking awesome editor and, since your edits are so great, we trust you enough to not have an admin or a patroller check all of your edits. Woo! Way to go! We hope you stick around and continue with your fantastic contributions. And of course, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask any of the active staff members (or other folks that seem trustworthy). Happy editing! :) Dany36 00:52, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

YAAAAAAAY! *Does the Happy Kirby Dance* <(^_^<)(>^_^)> OH I feel all capable right now! =) Haha thanks! Embyr 75  --Talk-- 01:00, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
WOO Embyr! Yep, your edits are pretty sweet. You are definitely deserving of the promotion! User:Cipriano 119/sig 01:09, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
Here's another congrats for Embyr =). --K2L 01:21, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
sniff I'm feeling the love!! X) Thanks guys! Embyr 75  --Talk-- 01:37, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
More love, yo! So glad to have you autopatrolled. We never needed to patrol YOUR edits because they're always top notch! Keep up the awesome work because you're an invaluable help to the wiki. =) User:Justin/sig 23:17, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
Thank you so much!! XD You guys are AWESOME!!! O_O Embyr 75  --Talk-- 00:51, 12 June 2010 (UTC)

Hey!

Got your message, yeah I am a total newb at this, lol. I have decided that until I have the content for this page ready, I will make further edits in OpenOffice as to avoid the frequent updates, and to make my life simpler.Template:Nosig

Haha, cool! No worries. I end up pressing the "preview" button like ten times before I save cuz I'm ALWAYS forgetting something!!! ^_^ Anyway, glad to have you, and hope you stick around! BTW, you can sign you edits using four tildes, like this ~~~~ =) See ya! Embyr 75  --Talk-- 04:52, 26 June 2010 (UTC)

Skype...again

Hey, Embyr, I wanted to bring up Skype again to see if you were interested. Last time, you were gone or something? But anyways, we'd really like to have you join our chats! Just let me know if you're still interested, and if you get Skype, you can contact any of us via our Skype names found on the Skype page. Your best bet for an immediate response would be to contact myself, Mandi, or Matt, as we're the three most active users. Dany's been online a lot, too, lately. Hope you decide to join us! :)User:Justin/sig 02:22, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

Hey Justin! I definately haven't forgotten about it, I'd like to once I'm on my own desktop again. I'm still away from my own box (I've been across the country for 6 months! O_O I wasn't expecting this trip to last this long lol), and when I tried downloading Skype to this laptop it didn't work. I actually have Skype at home, ao as soon as I get back to the West Coast I will let you guys know. =) Thanks for the reminder! =P Embyr 75  --Talk-- 02:39, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
Okay! Hope to see you in our chats when you do get back! =DUser:Justin/sig 02:45, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

Patroller

On behalf of the Zelda Wiki.org staff, we came to a discussion to promote you to a Patroller. If you are comfortable with that, we will rank you up whenever you reply. User:Steven/sig 20:35, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

Ehm, since Steve didn't explain, patrol is when you review the edits of others and mark them as "patrolled." You then make changes (if necessary.) It's basically our way of making sure that every edit is of high quality. It's a bit tough, but we all thought you'd be perfect for it :) You can read more about it in the help guide here.User:Justin/sig 21:22, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
For reals?! Awesome! I'd be honored!! Embyr 75  --Talk-- 22:37, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
Good to hear! I'll let you in on a tip: Create the page User:Embyr 75/monobook.js with the following:
importScript('mediawiki:admin.js');
It'll add a patrol tab while patrolling edits. You can hit alt+shift+1 (in Firefox) or alt+1 (in Chrome) to patrol the edit you're looking at. After that, you can do it again to go back to the unpatrolled Recent Changes. It's a REAL helpful feature! Glad to have you working with us, Embyr!User:Justin/sig 04:22, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
