"For Our Princess!" is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.
Overview[]
Link met Penn at the Foothill Stable as part of their investigation for Princess Zelda sightings. From what seem to be a bizarre situation, a Zonai Survey Team squad in the location seemed to be all wearing nothing but their underpants, disturbing everyone. According to him, Penn learned that it was actually an order by Zelda for them to wear only underwear, but he doubt on why she would give out an outlandish directive. Penn asked Link to have squad explain them why they are wearing only underpants.
Link queried the leader of the survey team, <MISSING>. He said that he was under orders by Zelda to "look to the horizon and explore in their underpants." He also stated that two men, Dillie and Jora, were sent to clear out a monster den ahead of the road to Death Mountain, but hadn't come back for awhile. Link ventured forward to figure it out and he found the two people seemingly hesitant to assault the cave in their underpants. He talked to the two of their situation. Still detrimental on Princess Zelda's orders, they insist on clearing out the cave in only their underpants, but their exposed elements makes them too afraid to do the deed.
To lift their spirits, Link decided to go in the cave with nothing on him to live up to Zelda's "order." In the end, he defeated all the monsters with bare essentials. Returned, Dillie and Jora were surprised to hear him defeated all the monsters on his own. With the extermination order already fulfilled, the duo headed back to the stable.
Link returned to the survey team and saw them all together. After much discussion, they learned that they misinterpreted Zelda's speech; learned that she actually said "explore all other paths." Upon realizing this, the survey team decided to rethink their decision to wear only underpants.[verification needed]
Penn thanked Link for clearing up the misunderstanding and will write a report regarding the strange event. He gave Link a cut of Traysi's payment and left.
