Fish Pies are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]
Location and Uses[]
Breath of the Wild[]
Fish Pies are made in a Cooking Pot by combining Tabantha Wheat, Goat Butter, Rock Salt, and any type of Seafood. This includes Fish, Crabs, Sneaky River Snails, and Hearty Blueshell Snails. Either Hyrule Bass or Sanke Carps must be used to make regular Fish Pies. They can be eaten to restore four Hearts to Link's Life Gauge, but they can also be sold for 40 Rupees. They're considered a mainstay in the homes of fishermen, and their crisp crust is known to pair well with their fishy flavor.[1]
Depending on what ingredients are used and whether additional ingredients are added, Fish Pies can be of the following variations:
- Hearty Fish Pie:[3] They can be made by using a Hearty Bass, Hearty Blueshell Snail, Hearty Salmon, or other hearty ingredient. Eating one restores all of Link's Hearts and grants him temporary additional Hearts as well.[3] They also sell for 70 Rupees.
- Energizing Fish Pie:[4] Made using Staminoka Basses, Bright-Eyed Crabs, or other energizing ingredients. When eaten, they'll replenish some of Link's Stamina Wheel.[4] They heal Link for four Hearts, and they sell for 50 or 70 Rupees, depending on the ingredient used.
- Enduring Fish Pie:[5] Made by adding enduring-type ingredients to the recipe, such as Endura Shrooms or Endura Carrots. They restore and overfill Link's Stamina Wheel when eaten.[5] They restore six Hearts to Link's Life Gauge and sell for 60 Rupees.
- Hasty Fish Pie:[6] Made by adding speed-type ingredients, such as Swift Violets. If they're eaten, they'll temporarily increase Link's movement speed.[6] They also restore two Hearts to his Life Gauge, but they can also be sold for 70 Rupees.
- Spicy Fish Pie:[7] Made by using Sizzlefin Trouts or Spicy Peppers. Eating one grants Link one level of Cold Resistance for a short period of time.[7] They'll heal four of Link's Hearts, and sell for 40 to 50 Rupees.
- Electro Fish Pie:[8] Made by using Voltfin Trout or other electricity-related ingredients. When consumed, these pies will grant Link one level of Shock Resistance.[8] They heal four Hearts in Link's Life Gauge and sell for 40 Rupees.
- Mighty Fish Pie:[9] Made by using Mighty Carp, Mighty Porgies, Razorclaw Crabs, or other attack boosting ingredients. Eating one will temporarily increase Link's attack power.[9] They heal four Hearts, but they sell for 50 Rupees.
- Tough Fish Pie:[10] Made by using Armored Carps, Armored Porgies, Ironshell Crabs, or other defensive ingredients. Eating them temporarily increases Link's defensive abilities.[10] They also heal Link for four Hearts and sell for 50 Rupees.
- Sneaky Fish Pie:[11] Made using Stealthfin Trouts, Sneaky River Snails, or other stealth ingredients. When eaten, Link's Stealth abilities will be temporarily boosted.[11] They heal four Hearts in his Life Gauge, but they sell for 50 Rupees.
