The First Gatehouse is a location in Breath of the Wild.[1]
Features and Overview[]
The First Gatehouse is a small tower along the pathway to the Sanctuary in Hyrule Castle. Its entrance is flanked by two Guardian Turrets. When Link enters the First Gatehouse, a Blue-Maned Lynel will drop from the ceiling and the entrances will be blocked, trapping him inside.
Defeating the Blue-Maned Lynel will cause the portcullises to raise. A metal Treasure Chest will then appear, containing 10 Bomb Arrows. A stone Treasure Chest can be found on the upper level of the First Gatehouse, and it holds five Bomb Arrows.
If Link climbs all the way up the spire on top of the First Gatehouse, he will find Leaves with Fairy Dust. When he interacts with them, a Korok will appear and give him a Korok Seed.[2]
