The Jack of Hearts is an Outfit that can be crafted at Madame Couture's at a cost of one Hytopian Silk, one Octorok Sucker, one Fairy Dust and 600 Rupees. It becomes available for purchase after Link completes the Forest Temple.
Wearing the Jack of Hearts increases the Links' total Heart Containers by one, as made evident by the single Heart on its front. This ability is deprecated by both the Queen of Hearts and the Lady's Ensemble Outfits.
The Jack of Hearts and the Queen of Hearts appear to be based on characters from the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
