The Giant Bomb Bag,(TP)[1] also known as the Biggest Bomb Bag,(Series | OoT | MM)[1] are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.

Location and Uses[]

Ocarina of Time[]

In Ocarina of Time, the Biggest Bomb Bag is an upgrade to the Big Bomb Bag that increases its carrying capacity from 30 Bombs to 40. It can be obtained by first acquiring the Big Bomb Bag in one of the following manners:

  1. In Goron City, as child Link, use a Bomb to stop the Hot Rodder Goron's rolling while the Goron is inside the northern alcove. He will reward Link for his "courage" with the Big Bomb Bag.[2]
  2. Win the Bombchu Bowling Alley Mini-Game while the Big Bomb Bag is the selected prize.

Whichever upgrade is acquired second will become the Biggest Bomb Bag.

Majora's Mask[]

The Biggest Bomb Bag in Majora's Mask holds up to 40 Bombs and is purchased from the Business Scrub in Goron Village, who ordinarily sells the upgrade for 1,000 Rupees; more than Link can carry in his Wallet.[3] If Link speaks to the Scrub while in Goron form,[citation needed] he will be able to trade his Big Bomb Bag and buy the upgraded Biggest Bomb Bag for just 200 Rupees.[4]

Twilight Princess[]

In Twilight Princess, the Giant Bomb Bag is obtained by scoring at least 25 points in Iza's Rapid Ride. As opposed to being an Item that appears in Link's Inventory, the Giant Bomb Bag simply doubles the capacity of all of Link's other Bomb Bags, allowing them to hold up to 60 Bombs, 30 Water Bombs, or 20 Bomblings.
