Fifi (known as Borken in the PAL English version) is a character in The Minish Cap.[2] He is Stockwell's pet Canine.
Biography[]
Fifi lives in Stockwell's House at Lake Hylia. Stockwell claims he is too busy to feed him,[3] so when Link tries to take the Bottle of Dog Food behind the counter of Stockwell's Shop, Stockwell agrees to let him keep the Empty Bottle if Link feeds Fifi in his stead.[4] Emptying the Dog Food into Fifi's Doggie Dish will give Link the Empty Bottle; it cannot be used or emptied anywhere else, as the Bottle of Dog Food appears as a quest Item rather than a usable Item.[5]
If Link talks to Fifi while Minish-sized, he complains about how his master never has time to play with him.[6] Link can Fuse Kinstone Pieces with him, causing a Chest to appear near Mayor Hagen's Lakeside Cabin at Lake Hylia with a blue Kinstone Piece inside.
Trivia[]
- Fifi resembles dogs of the Maltese or Yorkshire Terrier breed.
- Although a few other Canines appear in The Minish Cap, Fifi is the only Canine of his kind, the others being of a larger breed.
