The Angles Tunnel is the fourth dungeon in Zelda Link’s Awakening. It is located behind a waterfall.

Stopping the Waterfall

On arrival at the Angler’s Tunnel, Link discovers that the main entrance is concealed by a large waterfall. Like many levels in Link’s Awakening it requires a key, which will stop the flow of the water. The key is located in the Yarna Desert but the only entrance is blocked by a large Walrus. The animals in Animal Village inform Link that only Marin Singing will be able to wake him. After a long feeling filled conversation with Marin at the Beach, she agrees to help Link and follows him to the Walrus. After hearing the song he falls into the sea leaving the desert entrance open. While searching the desert Link comes across a Lanmolas who once defeated will drop the Angler Key. Returning back to the entrance of the Angler’s Tunnel, Link can now use the key to stop the waterfall reviling a large fish shaped head in the wall.

Inside the Cave

The basic layout of the cave is in the shape of a fish’s body with many puddles of water. A new puzzle in this dungeon is a series of platforms that have to be stepped on in a certain order. The main item is the Flippers.

The boss for this dungeon is a giant Angler Fish who can easily be defeated with very little effort.

After defeating Angler Fish, the Surf Harp will be awarded.

Trivia

The music that is used for this dungeon is a remix.

It is the first time that a Fish has been the Final Boss of a dungeon.
