===The Wind Waker===

  +
__TOC__
A set number of rats will appear out of these holes, but if you toss some [[All-Purpose Bait]] in front of it, a rat will come out and offer to sell you something. It sells things such as [[potions]] and more [[All-Purpose Bait]]. This raises the question of why they need [[Link]]'s [[All-Purpose Bait]] when they already have more then enough to sell...

===Phantom Hourglass===
+
==Redirect fixing==
Only four of these holes appear in game, and they are in pairs. A rat holding a small [[key]] will appear from one hole and run to the other. In order to get the key from the first rat (Located in the Mountain Pass on [[Mercay Island]]), [[Link]] had to push a [[block]] in front of one hole, then let the rat run to it and corner itself. In order to get the key from the second rat (Located in the [[Temple of Fire]] on the [[Isle of Ember]]), [[Link]] needed to kill it with his [[Boomerang]] while it was running from one hole to the other.

Good job with "Ganon" here, but you know that you don't ''need'' to edit user and talk pages to fix these? It's not like a user page having a redirecting link is going to make the Wiki appear unprofessional. :P {{:User:Ando/sig}} 01:59, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
Similar holes also appear, however, and serve as doorways only accessible by [[Bombchu]]s.

  +
:I know that. But I figured that if I did fix the ones on talk and user pages, it would help the users to remember how to link to that article.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">02:03, July 14, 2008 (UTC)</span>

::Do you know what would be great? If when previewing a page, it would list the redirect pages that the current page links to. I requested an extension like this over a MediaWiki.org earlier today. It will be a while before anyone responds to it, and a while longer before one is made. Hopefully it isn't too long.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">02:10, July 14, 2008 (UTC)</span>

Tomorrow, or later today considering UTC, don't expect to answer anything right away. By brother-in-law went out to eat and got a piece of meat lodged in his throat. It is so far down that he can still breath. Everything we tried to give him just comes right back up. We tried for three hours. Now it is so inflamed that it will never come out on its own. We're taking him to the ER. I'll have to watch his kids for the next day or so. So I'll be focusing on them. Later.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">03:03, July 14, 2008 (UTC)</span>

::::Something like that. It was that very thing that allowed him to still breath that prevented it from being removed by anything that could be done at home. My mom, a nurse, tried everything and was not able to get it out. We tried every trick: the Heimlich, vomit-inducing methods and meds, hot water, and a few other things. So we took him to the ER. He got out just before noon today, central time. I don't know how they got it out, they have not given me all the details yet.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">20:32, July 14, 2008 (UTC)</span>

I haven't seen him since last night, but I'll know soon enough. We knew that there were only two ways to get it out. Those were: surgically removing it, and using an special instrument to go in and pull it out. It really depended on how far down it was and how inflamed and swollen the surrounding tissue was. He got out sooner than we would have expected if it was a surgical removal, but I'll still have to check.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">20:47, July 14, 2008 (UTC)</span>

Hey I'm new and since my sis took over my name ZeldaGirl101 I never really learned about this place so me Miss Bubbles am asking you how do I do the whole user page thing I really love the zelda thing but the actual wiki confuses me! :I could help. I'm not that good at the chatroom, so you can ask [[User:Seablue254|Seablue254]] about that. For a userpage. Just ask me what you want to do and I'll tell you. I suggest starting with userboxes. You can go '''[[Userboxes|here]]''' to see all of the currently available userboxes. To get instructions on each one, go to the category link on the top of the page. Keep asking for anything else you may need help with.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">01:43, July 15, 2008 (UTC)</span>

:You need to use a userbox container. It may be better if I do that part for you. You can add anything to your user page, as long as it is within reason. Wow my small bag of help has turned bottomless! Oh and can you make userboxes like custom ones?{{Nosig|Bubbles96|22:39, July 17, 2008 (UTC)}}
  +
  +
:You could make userboxes. But inexperienced users should ask an experienced one to make it. For the signature, there are instructions you can follow [[:Category:User Signatures|here]]. But they can be difficult to do if your new. Basically you make a subpage to your user page. You can do that going to the page <b>[[User:Bubbles96/sig]]</b>. Then you make your signature on that page. You can look at the existing signatures [[:Category:User Signatures|here]] to see what others have done. Once you do that, you should not have any trouble following the directions on this [[:Category:User Signatures|page]].{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">20:49, July 17, 2008 (UTC)</span>

Hey i did the signature thing but how do you get it to be colored in ansd stuff --Bubbles 21:58, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
  +
  +
:It is a bit complex. But first you type in something like this: <b><nowiki><span style="color:#AB4CA9;"></span></nowiki></b>. In the color spot you put your desired color. It has to be six characters long. It is what is called hexadecimal. You can look up the color you want on Wikipedia or something. Then you type your sig in that like this: <b><nowiki>[[User:Bubbles96|</nowiki><i><nowiki><span style="color:#AB4CA9;"></nowiki></i><nowiki>Bubbles96</nowiki ><i><nowiki></span></nowiki></i><nowiki>]] </nowiki></b>, make sure it is like that. It should all then look like this: [[User:Bubbles96|<span style="color:#AB4CA9;">Bubbles96</span>]]. That is all there is to it.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">22:54, July 19, 2008 (UTC)</span>

== Parser hook functions ==

I was looking [[Special:Version|here]] when I saw some mmore parser functions on the wiki. Do you have a page that can help me learn about these? {{:User:Seablue254/sig}} 23:39, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
  +
  +
Besides the ones you know, most of the others are used by automatic wiki functions. They are not that useful to use on your own. I've already looked up all of them. We're already using the good ones. Although, the time one is a little cool. But has no real use. This is because it does not update the time whenever the page is viewed. Only when it is saved. So it is useless. If you want more parser functions, then you could ask for them. This <span class="plainlinks">[http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Parser_function_extensions page]</span> basically lists all of the parser functions available. Of the ones we don't have, I'd really like to have the ones added by the extensions: <span class="plainlinks">[http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:VariablesExtension VariablesExtension]</span> and <span class="plainlinks">[http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:DynamicFunctions DynamicFunctions]</span>.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">23:54, July 18, 2008 (UTC)</span>

:That can't be true; there has to be more good extensions than #ifeq and #switch. {{:User:Seablue254/sig}} 23:57, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
  +
:Also, VariablesExtension can be done by using PHP. To define a variable in PHP , it goes along the lines of:<br />
  +
<?php<!-- Declaring a php script --><br />
  +
$Variable = Nameofvariable; <!-- Declaring the variable --><br />
  +
echo $Variable; <!-- Announcing it to be used --><br />
  +
?><!-- Ending the script --><br />
  +
Why I can't get it to work may bg because I'm not using a HTML script tag :|. {{:User:Seablue254/sig}} 00:01, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
  +
  +
:The variable extension lets you define a variable in wiki code and lets you use and modify that variable throughout that page. That variable will be unique to that page and is more practical to use than a wiki-wide variable. It is hard to top #ifeq and #switch. They are very useful. We can't use all of HTML code, just some of it. The dynamic functions extension will let us generate random numbers. So we could have something displayed that is chosen at random just like they do over at Wikia.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">00:16, July 19, 2008 (UTC)</span>

== Weird and Annoying Problem ==
  +
  +
It is a really good thing I made the Firefox Hints page, and that I was very thorough with it. You see, for some reason, my computer decided to play a little joke on me. It deleted all my Firefox bookmarks, settings, extension settings, toolbar layouts, and history. The only thing that seemed to survive was my cookies. So I lost everything that I spent weeks configuring. I already checked. It is not a virus and it is not one of those weird Windows errors that go away after a restart. They are just gone. I tried every system restore point. Even my backup files are gone. Seeing as they were all still here and then were gone without another person entering my room, it was not sabotage. I've got a firewall so no one could a broken in through the internet. It is just some weird Firefox bug. Why do I always get the very rare, but still very severe, Firefox bugs and no one else does? It happened after I closed Firefox and then reopened it. When I opened it back up, all those extension tabs opened up, it did not go to my home page, the toolbars were back to the default configuration. This actually happened two hours proir to this post. It will take me a long time to get everything back to the way it was. I'll problably never get all my bookmarks back. Yes, I already looked in the program directory where the Firefox use profile is saved. Only the cookies were still there.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">02:11, July 20, 2008 (UTC)</span>

  +
  +
:<nowiki>D:</nowiki>. Maybe it's your excessive use of configuration that is messing it up. Anyways, if you still have all your cookies, you can use those to help you remember your bookmarks. {{:User:Seablue254/sig}} 19:01, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

== #ifexist ==
  +
And this one is? {{:User:Seablue254/sig}} 19:02, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
  +
  +
:It is a very useful one. Here is what it is like:
  +
  +
::<b><nowiki>{{#ifexist:</nowiki></b><i>Page name</i><b>|</b><i>Text if page exists</i><b>|</b><i>Text if page does not exist</i><b><nowiki>}}</nowiki></b>
  +
  +
:The ''page name'' is the full name of the page you are checking. And the rest speaks for itself. Remember the noclog template? The use of this parser function eliminated the need for it. So it is used , by us anyway, to display plain text if the article's talk page does not exist, and to link to the talk page if it does exist.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">19:13, July 20, 2008 (UTC)</span>

Yep. We have one guest that is a friend of my eldest nephew. Everyone else but one person is here. One brother-in-law was unable to get off work. He and that sister actually live over in Wisconsin. They are actually visiting for a family reunion later this week. That reminds me. I'm leaving for that same family reunion on Wednesday. We are coming back either late Saturday night or very very early next Sunday morning. So, either way, it will be Sunday on UTC time when I get back. So, if I forget to update that on my main page, then someone should change that user activeness to:
  +
::<b><nowiki>{{User activeness|Absent|July 27, 2008}}</nowiki></b><br>
  +
Also, I think we should all copy this activeness to our talk pages. Not everyone checks the userpages. I'll try and see what the best place for it among my templates at the top of this page is.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">19:52, July 20, 2008 (UTC)</span>

:Yeah, so when is the exact date you leaving? If you forget to do it, i'll do it. Oh yeah, I also wanted you to add a state to that template (Ever since you put in those #ifeq things I couldn't figure out how to do it. I thought I could use a #switch parser function, but it must be for only images. This is where Variable extension would come in handy ;). Lastly, it might be a good idea to copy those to talk pages. While I thought people would see it more on their user page, it might be better on the talk. {{:User:Seablue254/sig}} 19:58, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

As soon as I get it i'll send a copy to Ando. You could send one to Adam. There, we already have 4 people in there. It'll be easy to get that done with 4. == Delete Template ==

I've noticed that the [[Template:Delete|Delete Template]] is causing the page's talk page to appear in the [[Wanted Pages]]. I think we can fix the problem if we make the link to the talk page an external link with the span tags so it looks like an internal link. Any ideas? Can we set up a type of <nowiki>"http://www.zeldawiki.org/Article talk:{{Namespace}}"</nowiki>?
  +

It was used because template like merge and delete were making links to talk pages. I changed them so that they only linked if the page existed. That effectively made it obsolete.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">15:46, July 21, 2008 (UTC)</span>

My dad absolutely has to be in Pierre, the state capital (we pronounce it like PEER), before noon central time on Sunday July 27,2008. He has an Ag teacher's conference to go to.   +
  +
::No, I'm not bringing a laptop. A campground is a dangerous place for such an item.<br>You could look through the Firefox Hints page and see if there is anything that would help. You could also go into ''about:config'' and find "browser.session.interval" then change the one to a six so that it is 60000. That will speed up Firefox a lot. It will make it so that your session is saved every 60 seconds instead of every 10 seconds. But that means that if Firefox crashes, you'll lose everything you did in the last minute instead of the last ten seconds. So, you'll have to decide if it is worth it.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">20:06, July 23, 2008 (UTC)</span>

  +
  +
:::120000 is 2 minutes, correct? {{:User:Seablue254/sig}} 20:10, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
  +
  +
::::Yes. The time in the setting is in milliseconds. That is one one-thousandth of a second. So 1000 milliseconds is one second. But the session stored is the windows open, the tabs open, the forward and back button histories, and the information entered in forms. So be sure you want to do this.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">20:16, July 23, 2008 (UTC)</span>

Why are you so interested in my computer all of a sudden? :P<br>
  +
It's a desktop; I used to have a desktop, but I generally prefer laptops for the "only one cord which is the power cord" as opposed to the "power cord, mouse, keyboard, internet, etc." desktops. So I switched to a laptop! Unfortunately, no drivers existed for running XP on said laptop, so I was stuck with Vista. Eventually I got so frustrated with it that I just switched back to a desktop which I'm running now. At least desktops are easily upgradeable!<br>
  +
It's a ''sweet'' desktop, too. Nice, small casing. 2 GHz AMD Athalon 64 dual-core processor, and a Gig of RAM. ''(And I know you didn't ask, but it's got two ATI Radeon X1300 PRO video cards which are SWEET AND AMAZING.)'' So it's running XP Professional, SP3, and yes, it's got a middle-mouse button. Why do you ask-- oh. You're gonna talk to me about tabs, aren't you. WHATEVER, MAN.<br>
  +
My one frustration thus far is... no print screen button on this keyboard! D: I need to get a new keyboard, I guess. {{:User:Ando/sig}} 22:41, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

:Old huh? I like to get a good idea of what would be a good buy from people I trust first before I go and spend so much money. I know it is possible to change what a key on your keyboard does when pressed. You can change a button you don't use to Print Screen. I'm not sure how to do this. I just not that it can be done. Is you keyboard separate? I assume it is for a desktop. If it is, you could just get another keyboard. Ahh. Yeah, that's relatively old ''(although my friend just got out of using his Windows 95 computer with a 1 GB HDD about a year ago, and another friend of mine is still using his)''. I just happen to have a dad that works on a lot of computer stuff, and so whatever he either buys and ends up not needing or pulls out of another computer, there's a good chance that I can use it. :P<br>

I was thinking about just buying a new keyboard, yeah. The problem is ''(as I'm sure I've mentioned before)'' I HAVE NO JOB BECAUSE '''NO ONE WILL CALL BACK FOR AN INTERVIEW'''. RAWR<br>

Win? No, you use Vista still. :D I will admit, though, the keyboard is nice. I like that keyboard. :I'll say this right now. Even though I may constantly call Vista a piece of crap, I still have to say it works good. Even if XP is better (Uh, this has only been out 2 years. XP has had its bugs fixed for 5. Just wait till XP is gone and everyone uses Vista/Windows 7.), Vista has a ways to go until it can catch up with XP. Lastly, let me say that a computer is just for gaming as long as the game doesn't hurt me where it hurts most. :I do have a USB wireless optical mouse as well as the wheel one I'm using. But this computer only has two USB ports. I did get one of those USB hubs and I do have one of those adapters that let you plug a USB mouse into a standard mouse port. But I don't like getting batteries and I am too cheap to get rechargeable ones. They are only any good if you get the real expensive ones. The cheap ones just can't hold a charge for a reasonable length of time after about three or four rechargings.<br>For some odd reason, my processor's top speed has gone down to 398 MHz when it was at 401 MHz a year and a half ago.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">03:08, July 27, 2008 (UTC)</span>

:It turns out that the running light on the camper, or whatever the crap those things are called, the lights for indicating stopping or turning, were not working and we decided to get back before dark since my dad had so far to go tomorrow. He wanted to get some sleep. It did rain once. It was early this morning shortly after dawn. My dad always locks the camper door out of habit to prevent the other kids from waking him up in the morning. I don't like sleeping in campers. Well, just not ours anyway. It is an ancient piece of crap. I was in a tent. Of course, as fate would have it, that tent was getting old and leaky. You can just guess what happened. We tried our best to keep everything in the center, but too much of the stuff was leaking in everywhere. So, I force my dad awake from the outside and he opened the door. We rushed to get everything out tent and into the camper. About twenty minutes later, the sky was clear blue with not a cloud in site and the tent had an ankle deep pool. There was another thing of interest that happened a few weeks before in that campground. An embankment collapsed in a heavy and prolonged rain (about three days solid of nonstop, heavy rain) and took several trees, the nearby road, and a few campsites (presumably unoccupied at the time) into the good old Missouri River. The loss of the road made getting around the campground in big, awkward camper trailers a royal pain in the ***. We just happen to have had a site about eighty feet from the collapsing embankment on a one-way road that just happened to come from the direction of the now missing road. So, if you remember how campsites are oriented in relation to a one-way road's direction then you can imagine the complications. We must have seen about forty different vehicles try to get out on our road only to find that the part of the road that would get them out no longer existed, thereby forcing them to turn around. That was easy enough when the nearby site were empty. But once they were occupied, it became quite a challenge. It became so bad that I was forced to go to the campground host and make him fully aware of the problem and offered potential solutions.<br>So that was my time. How was yours? From the recent changes it didn't seem out of the ordinary.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">02:42, July 27, 2008 (UTC)</span>

I'm going to try something to save some space on my userpage. I'm moving content to user subpages, then calling them on the main user page. This will improve load time, make editing easier, and improve our ability to spot errors in the page. So, no one freak out when I make a lot of user subpages and my userpage is reduced in size. When view the page normally, it will be just as long.{{:User:Mjr162006/sig}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">03:51, July 28, 2008 (UTC)</span>

Redirect fixing

Good job with "Ganon" here, but you know that you don't need to edit user and talk pages to fix these? It's not like a user page having a redirecting link is going to make the Wiki appear unprofessional. :P User:Ando/sig 01:59, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

I know that. But I figured that if I did fix the ones on talk and user pages, it would help the users to remember how to link to that article.User:Mjr162006/sig 02:03, July 14, 2008 (UTC)
Do you know what would be great? If when previewing a page, it would list the redirect pages that the current page links to. I requested an extension like this over a MediaWiki.org earlier today. It will be a while before anyone responds to it, and a while longer before one is made. Hopefully it isn't too long.User:Mjr162006/sig 02:10, July 14, 2008 (UTC)

It's true. Nice idea there. Let me know how it turns out. User:Ando/sig 20:12, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Happenings

Tomorrow, or later today considering UTC, don't expect to answer anything right away. By brother-in-law went out to eat and got a piece of meat lodged in his throat. It is so far down that he can still breath. Everything we tried to give him just comes right back up. We tried for three hours. Now it is so inflamed that it will never come out on its own. We're taking him to the ER. I'll have to watch his kids for the next day or so. So I'll be focusing on them. Later.User:Mjr162006/sig 03:03, July 14, 2008 (UTC)

Hmm, made your own thread about happenings, it sounds a bit strange; I never heard of choking on meat, maybe he took too big of a bite... GunMetal Angel

They got it out. I never intended this section to include a ton of stuff, just this one issue. I couldn't think of another name. I wrote it in a hurry.User:Mjr162006/sig 19:17, July 14, 2008 (UTC)
!!! Shoot! That sucks. He's okay then, I assume?? How big of a piece was it for it to get stuck but him still be able to breathe? User:Ando/sig 20:12, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
I believe it could have been far down enough for the epiglottis to still open, allowing him to breathe, Ando. User:Seablue254/sig 20:21, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
Something like that. I don't know how they got it out, they have not given me all the details yet.User:Mjr162006/sig 20:32, July 14, 2008 (UTC)
One sure fire way to tell is to look for a scar ;) User:Seablue254/sig 20:40, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

I haven't seen him since last night, but I'll know soon enough. We knew that there were only two ways to get it out. Those were: surgically removing it, and using an special instrument to go in and pull it out. It really depended on how far down it was and how inflamed and swollen the surrounding tissue was. He got out sooner than we would have expected if it was a surgical removal, but I'll still have to check.User:Mjr162006/sig 20:47, July 14, 2008 (UTC)

Hey Just need a little help and heard you were helpful

Hey I'm new and since my sis took over my name ZeldaGirl101 I never really learned about this place so me Miss Bubbles am asking you how do I do the whole user page thing I really love the zelda thing but the actual wiki confuses me! Also your page is really cool....and long anyways could you help and maybe give me a few pointers with the chatroom....That thing confuses me to! the stupid newcomer --Bubbles96 01:23, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

I could help. I'm not that good at the chatroom, so you can ask Seablue254 about that. For a userpage. Just ask me what you want to do and I'll tell you. I suggest starting with userboxes. You can go here to see all of the currently available userboxes. To get instructions on each one, go to the category link on the top of the page. Keep asking for anything else you may need help with.User:Mjr162006/sig 01:43, July 15, 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for the help with the edit box. Every time I put it on, it'd cause some kind of problem...

I need s'more help!

Hey could you help me s'more well at least I think it was u please say your name is Matt! Anyways how do you get your userboxes all nice and neat on the side!? Please tell me! Also if you could how could I start a userpage!? Please be patient with me! the less stupid than she was yesterday newcomer --Bubbles96 19:06, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

You need to use a userbox container. It may be better if I do that part for you. You can add anything to your user page, as long as it is within reason. Some users like to explain their username, give some information about themselves or the games they have played. Things like that are okay.User:Mjr162006/sig 19:27, July 17, 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for helping me with that it looks so much better thank you!Also your sig how did you get it so nice!? --Bubbles96 20:23, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Wow my small bag of help has turned bottomless! Oh and can you make userboxes like custom ones?Template:Nosig

You could make userboxes. But inexperienced users should ask an experienced one to make it. For the signature, there are instructions you can follow here. But they can be difficult to do if your new. Basically you make a subpage to your user page. You can do that going to the page User:Bubbles96/sig. Then you make your signature on that page. You can look at the existing signatures here to see what others have done. Once you do that, you should not have any trouble following the directions on this page.User:Mjr162006/sig 20:49, July 17, 2008 (UTC)

Hey i did the signature thing but how do you get it to be colored in ansd stuff --Bubbles 21:58, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

It is a bit complex. But first you type in something like this: <span style="color:#AB4CA9;"></span>. In the color spot you put your desired color. It has to be six characters long. It is what is called hexadecimal. You can look up the color you want on Wikipedia or something. Then you type your sig in that like this: [[User:Bubbles96|<span style="color:#AB4CA9;">Bubbles96</span>]] , make sure it is like that. It should all then look like this: Bubbles96. That is all there is to it.User:Mjr162006/sig 22:54, July 19, 2008 (UTC)
Bubbles - I use this site for all my hex color needs. User:Seablue254/sig 22:57, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Parser hook functions

I was looking here when I saw some mmore parser functions on the wiki. Do you have a page that can help me learn about these? User:Seablue254/sig 23:39, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

This page basically lists all of the parser functions available. Of the ones we don't have, I'd really like to have the ones added by the extensions: VariablesExtension and DynamicFunctions.User:Mjr162006/sig 23:54, July 18, 2008 (UTC)

That can't be true; there has to be more good extensions than #ifeq and #switch. User:Seablue254/sig 23:57, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Also, VariablesExtension can be done by using PHP. To define a variable in PHP , it goes along the lines of:

<?php
$Variable = Nameofvariable;
echo $Variable;
?>
Why I can't get it to work may bg because I'm not using a HTML script tag :|. User:Seablue254/sig 00:01, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

The variable extension lets you define a variable in wiki code and lets you use and modify that variable throughout that page. That variable will be unique to that page and is more practical to use than a wiki-wide variable. It is hard to top #ifeq and #switch. They are very useful. We can't use all of HTML code, just some of it. The dynamic functions extension will let us generate random numbers. So we could have something displayed that is chosen at random just like they do over at Wikia.User:Mjr162006/sig 00:16, July 19, 2008 (UTC)
It still makes me wonder why we can't use all HTML code... User:Seablue254/sig 00:27, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Weird and Annoying Problem

Only the cookies were still there.User:Mjr162006/sig 02:11, July 20, 2008 (UTC)

Ohhhh man. That sucks a lot. D: Sorry about that, that would drive me nuts! Hope that you can get everything re-configured quickly and without hassle. User:Ando/sig 02:53, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
D:. Maybe it's your excessive use of configuration that is messing it up. Anyways, if you still have all your cookies, you can use those to help you remember your bookmarks. User:Seablue254/sig 19:01, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

#ifexist

And this one is? User:Seablue254/sig 19:02, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

It is a very useful one. Here is what it is like:
{{#ifexist:Page name|Text if page exists|Text if page does not exist}}
The page name is the full name of the page you are checking. And the rest speaks for itself. Remember the noclog template? The use of this parser function eliminated the need for it. So it is used , by us anyway, to display plain text if the article's talk page does not exist, and to link to the talk page if it does exist.User:Mjr162006/sig 19:13, July 20, 2008 (UTC)
The wiki beats me once again... User:Seablue254/sig 19:15, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Happy Belated Birthday!!

Yes, i know. I'm 4 days late. But I still want to wish you a happy birthday. Sure, I may have forgotten, but I think I'm the only one who remembered :) User:Seablue254/sig 19:21, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

How ironic. I was just about to say that I'm having my party right now. Today was the only day that works for everyone. It is just family here. Of course, I have a really big immediate family.User:Mjr162006/sig 19:26, July 20, 2008 (UTC)
Then shouldn't you be having a good time instead of editing wiki articles? User:Seablue254/sig 19:29, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
It is a hobby. The party only started twenty minutes ago. I'm actually eating my lunch right now. As for my family's size... Let's see, I have a mom & dad :P, four sisters, four brother-in-laws, four nephews, five nieces, and one more little one of an unknown gender that is due in a couple months.User:Mjr162006/sig 19:34, July 20, 2008 (UTC)
19 and one to soon see the Earth. Big family. I'm just with mom and the 2 brothers. Dad's at work. User:Seablue254/sig 19:36, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

{{User activeness|Absent|July 27, 2008}}

Also, I think we should all copy this activeness to our talk pages. Not everyone checks the userpages. I'll try and see what the best place for it among my templates at the top of this page is.User:Mjr162006/sig 19:52, July 20, 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, so when is the exact date you leaving? If you forget to do it, i'll do it. Oh yeah, I also wanted you to add a state to that template (Ever since you put in those #ifeq things I couldn't figure out how to do it. I thought I could use a #switch parser function, but it must be for only images. This is where Variable extension would come in handy ;). Lastly, it might be a good idea to copy those to talk pages. While I thought people would see it more on their user page, it might be better on the talk. User:Seablue254/sig 19:58, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
I'm actually adding a state right now. What was the one you were thinking of?User:Mjr162006/sig 20:18, July 20, 2008 (UTC)
Leave date is July 23, 2008.User:Mjr162006/sig 20:19, July 20, 2008 (UTC)
i was adding one saying this user is gone because they have stated they left/are banned. Do have an alternative to #switch, because when I used it to change the text for each State, it didn't work... User:Seablue254/sig 20:20, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
The one I'm adding is not that. But I have not saved the page yet so I'll add that one too.User:Mjr162006/sig 20:23, July 20, 2008 (UTC)
Now, do you have a way that text can switch for each state? User:Seablue254/sig 20:40, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
O, i see. I looked at the code and the box on your page and see it worked. Only problem is I can't see a change on the actual template page... User:Seablue254/sig 20:45, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

I think I know how to fix that. Just give me a minute.User:Mjr162006/sig 20:48, July 20, 2008 (UTC)

Okay. I fixed it. It was because of the wiki's cache for the template page was not updated. To update a page in the wiki's cache, go to "edit this page". Then, where it says &action=edit, change "edit" to "purge" and then click the enter key.User:Mjr162006/sig 20:54, July 20, 2008 (UTC)
Wow. Because you know everything, do you know how I can delete my unused Ubuntu partition of my computer without having any problems whatsoever or needing a disc/seperate program? (Rhetorical Question.) User:Seablue254/sig 21:09, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
As you may have noticed, the party is now over. We like to keep it short and simple.User:Mjr162006/sig 21:15, July 20, 2008 (UTC)
Lolwut? 1½-2 hour party? Thats it? Usually for my birthday everyone comes over at one, and the last guest won't leave till nine. User:Seablue254/sig 21:23, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
Yeah... They tend to get shorter as you get older.User:Mjr162006/sig 21:25, July 20, 2008 (UTC)
...oh. User:Seablue254/sig 22:26, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
What time on Wednesday will you leave? Will we be seeing you at all? User:Seablue254/sig 14:23, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

It depends on when we are ready. But I think it is about 11:00AM-ish. Give or take a couple hours, so eastern time or central it is all the same.User:Mjr162006/sig 15:10, July 22, 2008 (UTC)

A thunderstorm is delaying our departure. We may leave tomorrow instead.User:Mjr162006/sig 16:49, July 23, 2008 (UTC)

No offense

No offense, but this insults me. It seems as though you're saying that everyone else should keep away because they are dumb and will make a typo. Maybe it's just me, but I find it a bit insulting. User:Seablue254/sig 22:58, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

I'm not trying to say any of that. I'm very smart, and I had a very hard time doing it by hand without messing up. It is just a lot easier to use my excel file. Besides, it takes about ten seconds with the excel file, and about twenty minutes by hand. Now, if we had the variables extension, I could program the template to do the same thing as my excel file for anyone on the wiki. But with what we currently have, it just isn't possible.User:Mjr162006/sig 23:04, July 20, 2008 (UTC)
Can I see the excel file? User:Seablue254/sig 23:08, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
A: Will screenshots of the file work?
B: I would also like to say this: Although the variables extension would let us do that, it would be a ridiculously complex script. It would take many hours, if not, days to write. It would be extremely hard, even for me, to write.User:Mjr162006/sig 23:12, July 20, 2008 (UTC)
A: Why would you need to use screenshots? You have an email, you have my email, so just attach it and send it.
B: Really that hard?! User:Seablue254/sig 23:15, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Let make the file a little more explaining first. Hey... I just thought of something. It is actually a really good idea to send this Excel file to you. What would we do if we get more featured pictures while I'm gone? Let me finish tweaking the file and then I'll send it. Remember that we already have open templates for the next featured article.User:Mjr162006/sig 23:22, July 20, 2008 (UTC)

Yeah. I'm going to need to have some of this info spoonfed to me (Because I haven't been following you and Ando's "Lets add more spots-fest!), but after I get it, i'm sure we could circulate some copies to the staff and stuff. As soon as I get it i'll send a copy to Ando. You could send one to Adam. There, we already have 4 people in there. It'll be easy to get that done with 4. Of course, if the time presents itself, we could also move it to others. User:Seablue254/sig 23:28, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
Okay, I'm done. I've made the excel file as easy and descriptive as it can be. You don't have to type anything in to use it. It is all done with drop-down menus. But we can't send attachments through the wiki interface. I need to know your exact e-mail to send it. Ando has his on his page, but I don't know Adam's.User:Mjr162006/sig 23:57, July 20, 2008 (UTC)
I'm a little iffy about putting it here. Just send an email saying whatever and i'll reply. It'll then give the address. User:Seablue254/sig 00:04, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
O just wait. i know yours. User:Seablue254/sig 00:05, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Okay, I've sent it to you and Ando.User:Mjr162006/sig 00:32, July 21, 2008 (UTC)

Holy crap! Did you the the first 2 parts on your own?! User:Seablue254/sig 00:34, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
Which parts?User:Mjr162006/sig 00:36, July 21, 2008 (UTC)
Input Values and Calculation. I see that you just put in the command for the concatenation. User:Seablue254/sig 00:37, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
If you're asking if I did it by myself, then yes. I made the entire thing by myself. Nothing and no one helped me. It was all me.User:Mjr162006/sig 00:42, July 21, 2008 (UTC)
For a quick question, may I ask if you have Skype? User:Seablue254/sig 14:46, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Delete Template

I've noticed that the Delete Template is causing the page's talk page to appear in the Wanted Pages. I think we can fix the problem if we make the link to the talk page an external link with the span tags so it looks like an internal link. Any ideas? Can we set up a type of "http://www.zeldawiki.org/Article talk:{{Namespace}}"?

Oh yeah...what made it obsolete again? User:Seablue254/sig 15:42, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

It was used because template like merge and delete were making links to talk pages. I changed them so that they only linked if the page existed. That effectively made it obsolete.User:Mjr162006/sig 15:46, July 21, 2008 (UTC)

The problem is, that everytime you put a delete template in, if there is no text in the talk page, it shows up in the Wanted Pages.
Problem

Said Problem...

It is just the one image. Just tell an admin to get off their but and delete it already. Honestly, they have all got to keep up with articles for deletion page. Checking it once every month or two is not acceptable.User:Mjr162006/sig 16:01, July 21, 2008 (UTC)
It is NOT just the one image. It is every image that has a delete template on it. Thats why I was using the noclog template. As soon as I take away one, another pops into place. User:Seablue254/sig 16:12, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

That change I just made WILL FIX IT. But if you remember the Cite template problem, you'll know that there is a serious glitch in the MediaWiki software and the changes will not show up on the special pages for several days. So be patient.User:Mjr162006/sig 16:50, July 21, 2008 (UTC)

Gotcha. So It'll probably be here after you leave, correct? User:Seablue254/sig 16:57, 21 July 2008 (UTC) (Excuse my wait, but I had to restore my MBR. I'm getting rid of Ubuntu, and to forget that step would result in an unbootable computer.)
Yep. It will definitely work. I noticed that the Move template was doing the same thing. So I made the exact same change to the move template. For some odd reason, the Wiki software updated it on the special pages right away. I guess I better make this change to the other templates too just to be safe.User:Mjr162006/sig 17:00, July 21, 2008 (UTC)
Got it. I'm going to go have lunch now, so i'll see ya in a few. (Hours, that is). User:Seablue254/sig 17:02, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Firefox Hints

Would you hold a grudge if I was to add stuff too? User:Seablue254/sig 00:39, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

No I would not. Go right ahead and add to it. The more the better.User:Mjr162006/sig 03:13, July 22, 2008 (UTC)
Have you yet tried out About:Robots? User:Seablue254/sig 22:57, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
I think that it is in Firefox 3 only. I'm still waiting for a few extensions to update before getting it.User:Mjr162006/sig 23:05, July 22, 2008 (UTC)
I'll take it that it didn't work? User:Seablue254/sig 23:11, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

It says: "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded." So what is it supposed to do?User:Mjr162006/sig 23:17, July 22, 2008 (UTC)

Well, if you want to see it now, I'll upload a screenshot. Should I? User:Seablue254/sig 23:18, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Why waste the space on the server? You could just e-mail the screenshot to me.User:Mjr162006/sig 23:20, July 22, 2008 (UTC)

Oh yeah...1 sec. User:Seablue254/sig 23:22, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Still Here

Nope, still here. We were delayed by rain. Well, there were other reasons too, but the rain tipped the scale. We're leaving tomorrow morning. I think Yuvorias is in the same time zone as you are. He is just another night person like me.User:Mjr162006/sig 19:05, July 23, 2008 (UTC)
Huh. It be raining here too. What were the other reasons. Also, does this mean the reunion will be a day longer, or no? Anyway, I talked with Yuvorias about Zelda in the chatroom like a month ago. He told me he's from Australia. User:Seablue254/sig 19:07, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
Well that is great for Yuvorias's local. The camping trip is a family reunion. We were actually going down early. But we still need to get things, and the others that are riding with us still have things to do. We're coming back at the planned time. My dad absolutely has to be in Pierre, the state capital (we pronounce it like PEER), before noon central time on Sunday July 27,2008. He has an Ag teacher's conference to go to. The campground is about 120 miles (193 kilometers) from my hometown. And Pierre is about 190 miles (306 kilometers) from my hometown. So I'm back at the same time.User:Mjr162006/sig 19:19, July 23, 2008 (UTC)
got it. So you're leaving early? Like what, 5 o clock? Thats when we got up for my familys going to Tennessee. Tennessee took 2 days to get to, though... User:Seablue254/sig 19:39, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

I'm thinking that we'll just go Saturday evening. Most likely just after we eat supper. It is only a two-hour drive, so we'll be back before it is dark. Although, you'll probably be in bed by then.User:Mjr162006/sig 19:46, July 23, 2008 (UTC)

Unless you eat supper at 8 at night, I'll still be up when you get there. Anyway, will we see you (i.e. are you brining a laptop or something?). Lastly, Firefox is slowing down on me here. How can I speed it up? User:Seablue254/sig 19:54, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
No, I'm not bringing a laptop. A campground is a dangerous place for such an item.
You could look through the Firefox Hints page and see if there is anything that would help. You could also go into about:config and find "browser.session.interval" then change the one to a six so that it is 60000. That will speed up Firefox a lot. It will make it so that your session is saved every 60 seconds instead of every 10 seconds. But that means that if Firefox crashes, you'll lose everything you did in the last minute instead of the last ten seconds. So, you'll have to decide if it is worth it.User:Mjr162006/sig 20:06, July 23, 2008 (UTC)
  1. Oh. Gotcha
  2. Dude, I should make it 2 minutes. I hardly put anything on Firefox, and when I do, it is usually an addon that gets saved by restarting. User:Seablue254/sig 20:08, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
120000 is 2 minutes, correct? User:Seablue254/sig 20:10, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
Yes. The time in the setting is in milliseconds. That is one one-thousandth of a second. So 1000 milliseconds is one second. But the session stored is the windows open, the tabs open, the forward and back button histories, and the information entered in forms. So be sure you want to do this.User:Mjr162006/sig 20:16, July 23, 2008 (UTC)
I be very sure. I think however, we should continue this conversation in the Chatroom. User:Seablue254/sig 20:19, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Time Schedules

So yeah, I was thinking that even with very few active members, we actually got this place not dead for a while. My reasoning:

People on ZW
Person Time Zone/Location Times on
Seablue Eastern (GMT -5 Hr.)/NY nearly every day
Matt Central (GMT -6 Hr.)/SD nearly every day
Ando Central (GMT -6 Hr.)/TN nearly every day
Adam GMT (GMT ±0 Hr.)/England most weekdays
Yuvorias Australia (No idea)/No idea. Most nights
MARKOL Forgot.. Occasionally, 3-4 times a week
[Add Name] [Add Zone & Location] [Add Activeness]

You're probably gone by now, but hopefully we can fill in this list with many members...and have he wiki under control all the time :D User:Seablue254/sig 18:35, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Just to butt in, I've updated my details in the "schedule". Also, without trying to sound too defensive, I'd like to refute the recent "accusations" of my inactiveness. If you check the patrol log you'll see that my longest absence in the past month has been three days (I'm not taking offence, just making a point.) Like many people, I do actually have a life outside the internet ;) User:Adamcox82/sig 20:55, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Perhaps we could move this to another page? Because if this page gets too big, I will archive it. Also, if we are to add specific times that we are on the Wiki normally, then let's keep it like Adam's (GMT ±0 Hr.).User:Mjr162006/sig 21:31, July 23, 2008 (UTC)

I'm not entirely sure that having our "schedules" (or at least the sysops' schedules) displayed publicly is such a good idea. I had thought about doing this before but didn't based on the thought of vandals.
Imagine that you want to vandalize this place, and you basically have a guide here saying "Alright, there are no admins on during THIS time. I'll strike then!" rather than the "ohhhhh snaps I hope no one's on to block me!" that they'd usually have. User:Ando/sig 21:48, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
Good point. We can keep the table, but not have the precise times that we are online. I tweaked the table a little bit.User:Mjr162006/sig 22:14, July 23, 2008 (UTC)
We could, however, make a table with such online times on someone's computer. Then we can distribute it to trusted members through e-mail. How about that?User:Mjr162006/sig 22:16, July 23, 2008 (UTC)

Sure, if you feel like it, whatever. I don't care too much, so it'd be up to you guys. :P User:Ando/sig 22:30, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Mein computer

Why are you so interested in my computer all of a sudden? :P
At least desktops are easily upgradeable!
It's a sweet desktop, too. Nice, small casing. 2 GHz AMD Athalon 64 dual-core processor, and a Gig of RAM. (And I know you didn't ask, but it's got two ATI Radeon X1300 PRO video cards which are SWEET AND AMAZING.) So it's running XP Professional, SP3, and yes, it's got a middle-mouse button. Why do you ask-- oh. You're gonna talk to me about tabs, aren't you. WHATEVER, MAN.
My one frustration thus far is... no print screen button on this keyboard! D: I need to get a new keyboard, I guess. User:Ando/sig 22:41, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

I'm interested because mine is ancient, in computer years that is (my definition: one actual year equals six computer years).
Let's see...
The label on my PC says...
Designed for
____________Microsoft®
Windows NT®
Windows® 98
Old huh? I like to get a good idea of what would be a good buy from people I trust first before I go and spend so much money. I know it is possible to change what a key on your keyboard does when pressed. You can change a button you don't use to Print Screen. I'm not sure how to do this. I just not that it can be done. Is you keyboard separate? I assume it is for a desktop. If it is, you could just get another keyboard. They are cheap enough.User:Mjr162006/sig 23:01, July 23, 2008 (UTC)
Yes, I know I could have just used an underline for that. I was testing to see how it works. Here is another one:
 ||S
Neat huh?User:Mjr162006/sig 23:09, July 23, 2008 (UTC)

Ahh. Yeah, that's relatively old (although my friend just got out of using his Windows 95 computer with a 1 GB HDD about a year ago, and another friend of mine is still using his). I just happen to have a dad that works on a lot of computer stuff, and so whatever he either buys and ends up not needing or pulls out of another computer, there's a good chance that I can use it. :P
I was thinking about just buying a new keyboard, yeah. The problem is (as I'm sure I've mentioned before) I HAVE NO JOB BECAUSE NO ONE WILL CALL BACK FOR AN INTERVIEW. RAWR
So once I DO actually get some money, I'm gonna save up quite a bit to get a good, solid keyboard that I can mod to have a laptop nub-mouse. :D User:Ando/sig 03:48, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Wah! That's weird! What the heck is that code doing??

I think I know how to edit what each keyboard button does. Let me check it out and I'll get back to you. Do you have a Pause/Break button? That is a really useless button that would be a good choice. Or maybe Insert or Caps Lock or Scroll Lock. I think it could work for any button on your key board if you have got more [useless] buttons then I do.User:Mjr162006/sig 04:20, July 24, 2008 (UTC)
That code overlaps characters.
I think that this will suit your keyboard need perfectly. If not, then there is also this. See what works best.User:Mjr162006/sig 04:31, July 24, 2008 (UTC)
I made this just for you. I hope it is not too late to do it.User:Mjr162006/sig 04:36, July 24, 2008 (UTC)

Haha, sweet, thanks. I think I'll replace Scroll Lock. I never knew what that thing did anyway (not even my computer-expert dad knows!).
Regarding the thing you made, well, thanks, but my dad's already re-formatted the laptop so he can use it. :/ I appreciate the thought, though; but all I really had bookmarked anyway were text dumps. :P User:Ando/sig 04:44, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

LOL WUT?
You guys have a computer discussion and leave me out?
Again, LOL WUT?
Anyway, let me start about me. I'm using:
e-Machines Vista Home Premium SP1 32-bit Computer,
Intel Pentium 4 CPU,
A Gig of RAM (I wants more.)
IntelliType Pro Wireless Keyboard and Mouse (I...I actually have to pride Microsoft on this.)
Intel 82945 Express Chipset Family Video Card,
~152 GB Hitachi HDD.
AND ITS ONLY 11 MONTHS OLD AND STILL WORKING STRONG
Wait, did I just win this conversation?! ;) User:Seablue254/sig 14:21, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
(BTW, what games do you play on your system, Ando?)
Oh, and Ando, what job do you want? the reason you may not be getting interview callbacks is uh...the voice problem... User:Seablue254/sig 15:04, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Win? No, you use Vista still. :D I will admit, though, the keyboard is nice. I like that keyboard. But without even knowing what your video card is (I've no idea how to find out in Vista though), we can't judge your computer's gaming ability. :/ And that's the only reason anyone would ever have a computer, isn't it? User:Ando/sig 17:21, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Also, Sea, no employer even knows what my voice sounds like since they never call back. I just send in applications but I'm pretty sure that no one looks at them. :( I WANT A JOB

I'll say this right now. My wallet. User:Seablue254/sig 20:50, 24 July 2008 (UTC) P.S., what kind of job are you looking for, Ando? It can't be fast food as you have no voice at the moment.
Since I technically put my computer together myself, with the best spare parts I could manage on my limited budget (zero at the time I put it together), I don't think that saying the brand name will mean anything at all. But here are some specs. They are the best that the motherboard on this thing can handle:
RAM: 512 MB
Processor: Intel Pentium II 400 MHz
Hard Drive: Maxtor 120 GB
Keyboard: Logitech Deluxe 104
Mouse: Microsoft Intellimouse 1.2A (Hey, at least it works!)
CD Drive: Sony CD-RW
Display adapter: ATI 3D Rage Pro AGP
Monitor: Dell 800M
I do have a USB wireless optical mouse as well as the wheel one I'm using. But this computer only has two USB ports. I did get one of those USB hubs and I do have one of those adapters that let you plug a USB mouse into a standard mouse port. But I don't like getting batteries and I am too cheap to get rechargeable ones. They are only any good if you get the real expensive ones. The cheap ones just can't hold a charge for a reasonable length of time after about three or four rechargings.
For some odd reason, my processor's top speed has gone down to 398 MHz when it was at 401 MHz a year and a half ago.User:Mjr162006/sig 03:08, July 27, 2008 (UTC)
Matt, how can you build a computer with 0 budget? Old computers, right? User:Seablue254/sig 13:29, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Whoa, welcome back!

I thought that you were coming back tomorrow? But whatever! Welcome back either way. ;) User:Ando/sig 01:57, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

It turns out that the running light on the camper, or whatever the crap those things are called, the lights for indicating stopping or turning, were not working and we decided to get back before dark since my dad had so far to go tomorrow. It became so bad that I was forced to go to the campground host and make him fully aware of the problem and offered potential solutions.
So that was my time. How was yours? From the recent changes it didn't seem out of the ordinary.User:Mjr162006/sig 02:42, July 27, 2008 (UTC)
Sounds like you had loads of fun! I'm glad that I didn't get any postcards from you stating "Wish you were here", because that would probably mean that you hate me. :(
Anyway, uh, what happened here... Not much, actually. Just normal stuff. No new vandals that I can recall. Regular edit-type stuff. Same old, same old. No new featured stuff, even. Pretty routine. User:Ando/sig 03:13, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Well, ZU got hacked...AGAIN (Always entertaining) and bcause of that, ZW wouldn't let me in till now. How did you guys get in? User:Seablue254/sig 11:59, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
so thats why i could not get in--Rapido 12:35, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Yeah....ZU may be the heaviest source of Zelda Knowledge on the Internets, but t also has the worst security. This has got to be at least the 3rd or 4th time they got haxxored. User:Seablue254/sig 13:20, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Oh and Matt, do you mean the blinkers? Those are the things on the car that indicate turning and stopping. User:Seablue254/sig 13:22, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Apology

Hey man, sorry for me and Adam calling you out over there. We just noticed that you were beginning to act like the dominant force over at most places and it had to stop. Trust me, we all know you're very smart. You have 5 archives and soon you might need another. There's a reason for that, and it's ecause we all kow you're the person that can help. Hopefully you'll understand that we mean no harm. User:Seablue254/sig 15:51, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Well if you know, then I see no reason for me to actually say the word "smart". Perhaps that will suppress the reactions.User:Mjr162006/sig 15:56, July 27, 2008 (UTC)
Just stop saying it. It'll seem less "in your face" that way User:Seablue254/sig 16:02, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Saving Space

I'm going to try something to save some space on my userpage. I'm moving content to user subpages, then calling them on the main user page. This will improve load time, make editing easier, and improve our ability to spot errors in the page. So, no one freak out when I make a lot of user subpages and my userpage is reduced in size. When view the page normally, it will be just as long.User:Mjr162006/sig 03:51, July 28, 2008 (UTC)

I was talking to Ando about it. I don't think that it'll be used at all. User:Seablue254/sig 16:12, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

I never expected it would. I was thinking of putting it only on my userpage before I even started making it.User:Mjr162006/sig 16:19, July 28, 2008 (UTC)
