Gerudo is a desert Region in BotW.
+
Armor are special Clothes that Link can wear in BotW.

Features and Overview
+
Location and Uses
  +
Armor serve a variety of purposes, primarily to provide Link with defensive padding, allowing him to endure more damage. Certain pieces of Armor can also protect Link from the elements. However, Armor can also act as a liability; metallic Armor in thunderstorms will attract lightning, risking Link's health.
The Gerudo Region is an expansive desert wasteland, home of the Gerudo people. The region is plagued by Sandstorms that disrupt Link's Sheikah Slate Map, rendering it unusable.
