Papahl appears in Link's Awakening as the father of the Quadruplet Family.
Tailpasarans are parasitic tapeworms appearing in Ocarina of Time. They are found exclusively Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly, and like many other monsters in that dungeon, their slender bodies are flowing with electricity, so direct sword attacks are more likely to hurt Link than the creature itself. To destroy a Tailpasaran, Link should wait and throw the boomerang while Z-Targeting when one emerges from the ground. However, if Link is not equipped with a boomerang, he should quickly run from it before it emerges or damage it using a stick. These centipede-like creatures are known to be quite suicidal when in danger, attempting to shock the enemy to death, which results in the Tailpasaran itself being destroyed.

Papahl on Tal Tal Heights

When Link visits his home in Mabe Village and gives the Yoshi Doll to Papahl's son, Papahl tells Link that he will be lost up in the mountains later on.[1] When Link does happen to come across Papahl in the Tal Tal Heights, he tells Link that he is famished and cannot move unless he is given something to eat.[2] Link can give him the Pineapple received from Chef Bear as part of the Link's Awakening Trading Sequence.[3] As thanks, Papahl gives gives him a Hibiscus that he picked on the mountain.[4]
