Through this glitch, whenever Link's sword is drawn, it will be automatically swung causing damage to enemies without you having to press B, yet also without Link actually swinging his sword. Link will hold his sword normally, however your surroundings, whether an enemy or object, will react as if you hit them with your sword. This glitch is also needed to perform other such glitches as bombchu hovering. We did this on the Nintendo 64 golden cartridge version using the Kokiri, Razor or Gilded sword.
This is the man from the Curiosity Shop who lives in the land of Termina. He sells stolen goods and he usually gets them from a Takkuri or Sakon. If you save the old woman who sells the bombs on the midnight of the first night, you can purchase the All-Night Mask from him. He works during the day and sometimes night at the Trading Post next door. He is also a small part of the Kafei and Anju side quest.

To perform this glitch find an item that Link can interact with. A mail box is recommended, but other such things as signs, Terminians, dogs or even bombs if nothing else is around will work. Go up to your selected item, and crouch down with your shield. Rapidly press B, so that Link jabs with his sword, but make sure he doesn't actually hit anything but air. Whilst rapidly pressing B, push A once so that Link reacts with the item, whether by reading it, picking it up, or talking to the character. If using bombs, you'll need to be extremely quick to avoid it exploding. Only use bombs when nothing else is around. Having done that successfully the glitch should have worked, however it can often take a few tries. With some items, such as mail boxes and signs, Link's sword will already be drawn, and you'll see a white trail behind his sword when moving, showing that the glitch has been activated. Other items, such as bombs, dogs or characters will leave Link with his sword sheathed. To draw Link's sword and not effect the glitch, you must draw it in mid air, whilst doing a backflip, by targetting the camera behind Link, pulling back on the control stick and pressing A, then quickly pressing B whilst in the air. To undo this glitch either enter a new area, or put Link's sword away with A, and draw it normally again with B.
The frontman (possibly proprietor) of the Trading Post located in Clock Town in the game The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. He is a somewhat friendly man and seems to be quite hard working although he becomes sort of uptight and curt if you mock him by way of masks. He seems to be fond of Gorons and Zoras. He trades shifts with an unnamed lazy man at 10PM daily to tend to the Curiosity Shop next door. The function of it is vaguely explained but it seems to be a sort of pawn shop combined with a black market (stolen, exotic, and possibly illegal items are often sold there).

He seems to have a strong but sketchy connection with Kafei. Kafei houses in the back of the shop, spying on customers, waiting for Sakon to show up to try to sell the Sun Mask to the Curiosity Shop Guy. The Curiosity Shop Guy doesn't seem to care as he has known Kafei for a long time.

In this glitch you can enter Sakon's hideout in Ikana Canyon before day 3 and without doing the Anju and Kafei sidequest. Once inside, you cannot achieve much, therefore rendering this glitch pretty much useless. The only way out of the hideout is to warp using the song of soaring. We used the Nintendo 64 golden cartridge version.

This glitch is really quite simple. Head to the entrance of Sakon's hideout. Face the rock blocking the entrance, and look to the bottom right where there is a crack between the rock and the wall. Equip the bunny hood, and run at that small crack, rolling just before contacting the wall. This usually will take a few tries, but soon enough Link will roll through the crack, jump, and enter the hideout. This is possible to do without the bunny hood, however wearing the hood does improve your chances of making it through the crack.

Stop Time
This glitch allows you to stop the three day time limit, and explore Termina without the limitation of a clock. During this time most of the Terminians are gone, and the moon has vanished. Because of the nature of the glitch, there is no way to complete the storyline with this glitch activated, so don't use this glitch just to give you unlimited time to complete the game. Once this glitch has been executed there are some actions that cannot be done, and some other glitches which can be done. We did this glitch on the Nintendo 64 golden cartridge version of the game.

To do this glitch, go to the astral observatory near the end of the 3rd day, and look through the telescope by talking to Professor Shikashi. As you are looking through the telescope, carefully watch the clock. You need to press B to exit the telescope view as close to the clock reaching 00:00:00 as possible, but if you let it reach zero, it will be game over. If you are successful, once you have exited the telescope view, and spoken to the Professor, the clock will have vanished from the bottom of your screen, and time will have stopped. You'll need to reset your console to deactivate this glitch.

Please note that glitches are errors in the programming of the game, which in this case we use to our advantage, however at times they can be damaging. Though all the glitches here have been successfully completed without damage, that doesn't mean they won't cause freezing or crashes to your game. It is advised that you make sure your game progress is saved when attempting glitches to prevent losing your progress, as many glitches require resetting to undo their effect. Attempting these glitches is done at your own risk, and Zelda Wiki.org does not take any responsibility for what these glitches may cause to your game pack, disc or console.
If Link happens to stop by Kafei's house, provided that he has left for Ikana and Sakon, the Curiosity Shop Guy will tell Link where Kafei went and give Link the Keaton mask.
