The Era of Myth is an era defined by a collection of legends and events that have become indistinguishable from myths within the Kingdom of Hyrule's long history.[2] The Era of Myth begins with the age of The Goddess Hylia and her Chosen Hero, in which Demise was sealed away.[3] After this, during the events of Skyward Sword, Link defeats Demise in the past, with Demise himself cursing the Kingdom of Hyrule with a seemingly endless cycle of conflict between darkness and light.
