Twilight Princess render
The Double Clawshots[1] is an item introduced in Twilight Princess. It is simply another Clawshot, one for each hand.
Mainline appearances[]
Twilight Princess[]
In Twilight Princess, the Double Clawshots are received during the seventh dungeon, City in the Sky. This item works very similarly to Spider-Man's web technique, enabling Link to grapple onto an object while holding onto (or swinging from) another.
The visible difference is that previously, when Link grappled onto a target, his only option was to drop to the platform below. However, the combination of two Clawshots allows his to grapple and pull himself towards one target, then grapple another target without the need to drop down before hand. When hanging from the ceiling, Link can lower or raise himself. This is vital, since many sections of the City in the Sky have pitfalls and holes instead of solid platforms. They are also needed to defeat the dungeon boss, Argorok.
Skyward Sword[]
In Skyward Sword, both Clawshots are obtained at once by completing Nayru's Silent Realm. They can be used to latch onto targets, vines, and Peahats. Sometimes, Peahats must be unearthed with the Whip before they can be latched onto.
