Description
This double-sided axe was designed with fighting in mind. It's a bit unwieldy, so it requires a well-practiced technique to use efficiently.
Common Locations
West Necluda
Gerudo Highlands
Properties
Atk 18

Double Axes are Axes designed with fighting in mind, though they require practice to use efficiently.[1] They can be found either abandoned or being used by monsters in West Necluda and the Gerudo Highlands. As with the Woodcutter's Axe, the Double Axe has a damage multiplier when used against trees, allowing the 40 hit point trees to be felled in one swing.

Being made of metal, Double Axes will attract Lightning if they're equipped during a thunderstorm. However, they won't burn when exposed to Fire, and they can be picked up using the Magnesis Rune.

Other Appearances

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

The Double Axe appears in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity as a two hanged weapon wielded by King Rhoam while he is in his hermit disguise, regardless of what claymore King Rhoam is wielding.
