Deku's Heir is a character in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland.[2] He is the heir of the Great Deku Tree.[1]
Biography[]
When Tingle first meets Deku's Heir, the Great Deku Tree reveals that his Heir has grown sickly because of the recent pollution caused by Humans.[1] In order to save his Heir, the Great Deku Tree requests that Tingle enters the Deku Temple, located at the base of the Great Deku Tree's trunk, and retrieve the Life Dew.[3][4]
Upon clearing Bana Bana from the Deku Temple and retrieving the Life Dew, Tingle can use it to heal Deku's Heir.[5] As thanks for saving his Heir, the Great Deku Tree will reward Tingle with up to 6,000 Rupees.[6][7] After rewarding Tingle, the Great Deku Tree will wither and die, leaving Deku's Heir to protect the Deku Forest in his place.[8] Despite inheriting the responsibility, Deku's Heir will be unsure how to carry out his duties.[9]
