Four Swords Adventures[]
Dark Stalfos make their first appearance in Four Swords Adventures, first appearing in the Temple of Darkness and appear in various Dark Worlds afterwards. They attack similarly to their Big Dark Stalfos counterparts, appearing as invincible dark shadows wielding swords and charging at the Links. Only by entering the Dark World can their true form be seen and fought.
Tri Force Heroes[]
Dark Stalfos reappear in Tri Force Heroes, being found in the Drablands' Den of Trails via the Desert Zone, Shadow Zone and Baneful Zone. They appear as normal Stalfos in this game and attack by throwing balls of dark energy, which will briefly Curse the Links to prevent them from using their Sword or other Items if they are hit. Some of them also ride Dark Totem Armos to give them an edge in battle.
