Curtains are recurring objects in the Legend of Zelda series.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Curtains (A Link to the Past)

Curtains are found in Hyrule Castle as decorative objects, some of which can be slashed with the sword to reveal the wall behind them. In Hyrule Castle Tower, one such curtain hides the entrance to the chamber wherein Link battles Agahnim for the first time. After Agahnim sends Princess Zelda to the Dark World, he retreats into an aft chamber, forcing Link to cut down the curtain blocking the entrance of the room to give chase.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

Curtains are found in the Ancient Castle of Ikana; specifically, the throne room of Igos du Ikana. Link must incinerate the curtains with Fire Arrows to allow Sunlight, the primary weakness of Igos and his servants, to shine forth into the room. Link can reflect this light onto his opponents using the Mirror Shield.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

Curtains are found in the Earth Temple, wherein they hide secrets. Link must burn them away using Fire Arrows to discover what it is they hide.

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures

Curtains appear in Hyrule Castle, and function like those found in A Link to the Past, being parted by sword slashes and sometimes concealing doorways.
