Oracle of Seasons Manual Description
Link can obtain the Cuccodex from Dr. Left by lighting up the Torch in his house, allowing him to read.[1][2][3] Link can then trade the Cuccodex to Malon to receive the Lon Lon Egg.[1]
The Cuccodex is the result of many years of Cucco research.[4] It allows Malon to properly care for her Cuccos while her father, Talon, is away climbing Mt. Cucco.[5][6]
