Cross the Volcano is a level 17 Challenge in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Overview

Cross the Volcano is a Challenge in which the Warrior is given five minutes to reach a Targeted Position in the eastern-most section of the map, starting on the opposite side. There is nothing blocking the Warrior from reaching the center of the map, aside from a handful of Fire-Breath Lizalfos. When the Warrior walks close to the center of the map, a gate closes and a Moblin spawns. The gate can only be opened by defeating it. If the Warrior goes south after passing through the gate, he will find an area containing an Electric Wizzrobe, Fire Keese, Fire-Breath Lizalfos, and Fire Chuchus. Eventually, after following a path containing a few Fire Keese, the Warrior will reach a dead end, and when he or she does, a Fire Moblin spawns. When it is defeated, a drawbridge lowers, allowing the Warrior to advance. The Warrior then follows a long path to the other end of the map, scattered with Stone Pebblits. When the Warrior reaches the Targeted Position, they are given the task of killing an Igneo Talus. When the Igneo Talus is defeated, the Challenge ends. The Challenge can be cleared using any Warrior, and when completed for the first time, the Warrior receives a reward of an Ethereal Stone, a Ruby, and ten Summerwing Butterflies.
