Crimson Shells are items in Tri Force Heroes.[1]

Location and Uses[]

Crimson Shells are silver-rarity Materials awarded for completing the following Levels and Drablands Challenges of the Ice Cavern:

  • Frozen Plateau, "Pop all balloons!": one Crimson Shell
  • Snowball Ravine, "Adventure in the dark!": one Crimson Shell
  • Snowball Ravine, "Transport the orb quickly!": two Crimson Shells
  • Silver Shrine, no challenge: one Crimson Shell
  • Silver Shrine, "Halved attack and defense!": two Crimson Shells
  • Ice Temple, "Fewer Heart Containers!": two Crimson Shells

They can also be won in the Coliseum and Daily Riches, or purchased from the Street Merchant for 500 Rupees each.

Crimson Shells are one of the Materials used to make Hammerwear.[1]

  • The description of Crimson Shells, "A mysterious shell that never misses a foe when thrown." is a reference to Red Shells from the Mario Kart series.[1]
