Template:Character The Crenel Hermit is a character appearing in The Minish Cap who resides high up on Mount Crenel.
General Information
His cave abode is built into the Crenel Wall section of the mountain. Upon meeting Link, he notes that specific patterned walls about the face of Mount Crenel are susceptible to Bomb explosions,[1] yielding secret passageways that hide Rupees and Pieces of Heart, among other rewards. Link can also fuse Kinstones with him.[2]
Trivia
- He boasts about winning the Picori Festival Tournament back when he was a kid.[3]
- When Link is not talking to him, he is daydreaming about Rupees.
- Crenel Hermit resembles the Carpet Merchant from Ocarina of Time and the Swordsman from Majora's Mask, which may suggest a connection considering his sword-fighting abilities at the festival tournament in his younger days.
