Template:Sources Template:Enemy Cows are docile enemies in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland that appear in Lon Lon Meadow. Their nature is not aggressive, and they will attempt to avoid Tingle if they spot him. In battle they are quite strong, however. They usually drop Heart Meat when defeated.
A rarer variant, the Gold Cow, can sometimes be found roaming the western parts of the Lon Lon Meadow, above the Salon. It drops 250 Rupees when defeated.
The Rancher of the meadow claims that they eat paper, and it turns out that one of the Cows stole a Recipe from him.
According to Pinkle, the Cows in Lon Lon Meadow used to look like normal cows, but one day a strange ball of light appeared, and the cows vanished. They subsequently returned but with their bizarre, altered features reminiscent of Greys, common aliens in popular fiction. Pinkle also questions whether Tingle himself is related to the cows, as he shares a strange elongated face with large eyes.
