In Breath of the Wild, Courser Bee Honey resembles beehives, and can be found on various Trees in Hyrule which resemble Apple Trees, but bear no fruit. It can be found in various regions, but appear a fair bit in places such as Necluda, with 3 being found directly next to Calip's House. They can be eaten to restore two Hearts. When Cooked they provide Link with Food that restore Stamina.[1] Each hive is guarded by a swarm of Courser Bees that will do a quarter Heart of damage and take two hits to scare off. They can also be used at the Kochi Dye Shop to make Orange Dye.

The Side Quest "Koko's Specialty" requires Link to retrieve Courser Bee Honey for Koko so she can make Energizing Honeyed Apple.[3][4] After Link delivers the Courser Bee Honey and Koko makes her desert, she will thank Link and give him Energizing Honey Apples.[5]

Courser Bee Honey is required to cook Energizing Glazed Meat, Energizing Honey Candy, an Energizing Honeyed Apple, Glazed Mushrooms, Glazed Seafood, Glazed Veggies, a Honey Crepe, and Honeyed Fruits.

Five pieces of Courser Bee Honey, in addition to either Naydra's Claw, Farosh's Claw, or Dinraal's Claw, is needed to upgrade each piece of the Hero of the Wild Set to its second tier.
