Pikmin Fanon, formerly known as Pikcanon-NOT, is an independent wiki, owned by Sir Pikmin and Peanut64, that deals with fanon (user-created) games, stories, and fan-made aspects surrounding of Nintendo's Pikmin franchise and relevant spin-offs, such as the Super Smash Bros. series. Formed on Fandom by Rocky0178 in 2008, the wiki grew to sizable proportions before moving to an independent server, with the help of the staff and editors of the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance in September of 2010. Pikmin Fanon became the sixth wiki drafted into NIWA on October 8, 2010, at the same time as Pikipedia. Pikmin Fanon is unique in that it is the first NIWA inductee with a focus on non-canonical material.

Until August 31, 2020, Pikmin Fanon and Pikipedia were owned by the same person, Porplemontage. Near the beginning of 2020, Porplemontage announced the wiki's closure for September 1, 2020 due to inactivity and rising hosting costs. However, after some discussions to transfer the website to a new host, it was decided to move the wiki to the Grifkuba network, a longtime host for other NIWA wikis, and management of the wiki has changed to Tacopill as of result.

Pikmin Fanon uniquely incorporates a labeling feature that helps users visualize the amount of wiki experience a specific user has. The Sprout is the default rank of all users, and it increases in varying stages, to Leaf, Bud, Flower, Master Flower, and finally, All Ranks. Users are eligible to become syspos (admins) starting at the Flower rank, and bureaucrats at the Master Flower rank; only the wiki's figureheads, Sir Pikmin and Peanut64, can award the All Ranks label. Furthermore, sysops and bureaucrats are the only users capable of changing and awarding ranks other than the All Ranks label.
