Template:Minigame Fabulous Five Froggish Tenors are singing frogs living in Zora's River. They hold a minigame in Ocarina of Time.[1]

Appearances

Ocarina of Time

Location

Frog group

Artwork of the Five Fabulous Frogs.

As a child, Link can find the five frogs swimming near a log in Zora's River.[2] When the young hero stands on the protruding log, the frogs hop out of the water and onto the log.

Rules

When Link plays the Fairy Ocarina or the Ocarina of Time, the frogs will hop to corresponding notes. The Frogs will award him 50 Rupees for every song he plays for them. Link needs to play Zelda's Lullaby, Epona's Song, Saria's Song, Sun's Song and the Song of Time. Successfully playing one of the tunes makes one frog grow in size.[3] If Link plays the Song of Storms, the frogs will reward Link with a Piece of Heart.[4]

After all the frogs have fully grown and Link has played the Song of Storms, a new way to play will begin.[5] A butterfly will float over one of the frogs. Link will have to play the note that corresponds to that frog to make him eat the butterfly. The young hero will need to think quickly, as the butterfly will fly away if he doesn't play the note in time. They'll lead the young hero through a somewhat random song. At the end, they'll reward Link with a Piece of Heart.[6] If Link picks the wrong frog, he'll have to start over.

Majora's Mask

The five frogs also have their own Terminan counterpart in Majora's Mask. They form part of Don Gero's Frog Choir,[7] and if all five frogs are gathered together in Mountain Village during the spring, they will award Link with a Piece of Heart if he conducts them wearing Don Gero's Mask.[8]
