Template:Character Tetra's Mother is a character mentioned in The Wind Waker. She was the captain of a pirate crew and the mother of Tetra, but by the time the events of The Wind Waker take place, she has already passed away. Before her departure, she entrusted Tetra with a piece of the Triforce of Wisdom and instructed her to guard it with her life.[1] Tetra, following in her mother's footsteps, became the new leader of the pirate crew, who all respect her despite that she is much younger than them.[2]
Inside Tetra's cabin of her pirate ship, a supposed portrait of Tetra's mother can be seen, along with a picture of the legendary Hero of Time.
Teories
- If she is Tetra's biological mother then she must be part of the Royal Family of Hyrule, but it's never explained why she (possibly) never was depicted in the family portrait inside the Hyrule Castle. Also, the fact of his survival is explained with the Hyrule Castle invasion seen in Wind Waker, giving the fact than she escaped from the castle taking the Princess Zelda with her and sometime after she joined to a pirate crew.
- If she is part of the Royal Family of Hyrule and Tetra is her possibly biological daughter, then maybe she was the Queen of Hyrule.
- Since every princess of the Royal Family must be named "Zelda", his name possibly must be Zelda, or more exactly: Zelda Nohansen Hyrule.
- If she was a Princess Zelda, then she must possibly be the Princess Zelda from another installment of the saga.
