Template:Ability Sitting is a recurring ability in Template:LZS that allows Link to interact with certain objects by halting his movement and sitting on or near them.

Overview

Skyward Sword

In Skyward Sword, Link is able to Sit on multiple objects: chairs, benches, stools, drums and the toilet in the Knight Academy. The action is similar to sleeping in that it regenerates Hearts. Hearts are regenerated at a rate of one Heart per second while Sitting. If Link Sits for long enough without moving, he will fall asleep and begin to fall off of whatever he is Sitting on before catching himself. Certain characters will remark upon Link Sitting on certain objects, like the Mogma in the Thrill Digger game and Owlan in the Knight Academy.[1]

Breath of the Wild

Sitting in Breath of the Wild does not recover any Hearts. Instead, Link may Sit at Campfires and at Cooking Pots to pass time.[2]
