The Power Bracelet is an item that increases Link’s strength to almost super-human ability. It is more common in the 2D Zelda games but has also made appearances in The Wind Waker and similar types of items (the Goron Bracelet, Silver Gauntlets, and Golden Gauntlets) could be found in Ocarina of Time. Another similar item appears in A Link to the Past; the Power Glove and its upgraded form, the Titan's Mitt, have the same effect as the Power Bracelets.
It can be assumed that the Power Bracelets have been scrapped for most 3D Zelda games because of the use of bombs on bigger rocks and the unrealism of needing a bracelet to lift smaller rocks. Although they are mostly called Power Bracelets, there are very rarely two of them, the only such occasions having been in The Wind Waker and The Minish Cap.
Power Bracelet(s)
The Legend of Zelda
With the Power Bracelet, Link is able to lift heavy objects such as rocks. The bracelet is hidden underneath an Armos Statue somewhere in Hyrule.
Link's Awakening
The Power Bracelet is found deep with the Bottle Grotto and is protected by two Boos. It is required to destroy the main boss of the dungeon as well as continuing in the adventure.
Later in the Face Shrine, a Level 2 upgrade is awarded which enables Link to lift heavy items.
Oracle of Ages & Oracle of Seasons
In Oracle of Ages, the Power Bracelet was hidden in the Spirit's Grave, the first dungeon. There was only one Power Bracelet present in this game, which would later be upgraded into the Power Glove, upon Link's journey into the Ancient Tomb.
In Oracle of Seasons, Link found the Power Bracelet in the Snake's Remains. Once again, there was only one bracelet. Unlike in Oracle of Ages, the Power Bracelet was never upgraded.
Four Swords Adventures
- The Power Bracelet of Four Swords Adventures is found in several levels. It is not added to the permanent inventory, as items in this game are gone upon the stage completion. These empower Link to lift large heavy objects blocking the only path through the area.
The Wind Waker
In The Wind Waker, the Power Bracelets are found inside Fire Mountain and are required to enter and complete the Earth Temple.
The Minish Cap
In The Minish Cap, the Power Bracelets are found in the Town Fountain. They allow Link to push large objects, such as bookcases, when shrunk down to Minish size. Curiously, they don't seem to affect Link's strength at normal size.
Power Gloves

Power Glove(s) make it so that Link can lift heavier things than he could before. Depending on the game which they are in, they may replace the Power Bracelet or they may be an upgrade of it.
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
In The Adventure of Link, the Glove (聖なるグローブ, Holy Glove) is found in Midoro Palace located in Midoro Swamp. It allows Link to break blocks with his sword, granting access to adjacent items, and opening up previously inaccessible areas.
A Link to the Past
Power GloveFound in the Desert Palace, the Power Glove allows Link to lift the light-colored rocks and skulls which are scattered around the the world of Hyrule, in both the Light World and Dark World.
Titan's Mitt The Titan's Mitt, found later, is a more powerful version which allows Link to lift the heavier, dark-colored rocks and skulls.
Oracle of Ages
Found in the Ancient Tomb, the Power Gloves are an upgrade of the Power Bracelet. They are used to lift up the statues found in Ancient Tomb.
Titan's Mitt
An upgraded version of the Power Glove, the Titan's Mitt (パワフルグラブ, Powerful Glove) can pick up heavier rocks and is essential to getting the Tempered Sword. The Titan's Mitt appeared in A Link to the Past. It is the reward from Thieves' Town.
Goron Bracelet
The Goron Bracelet is an item obtainable in Ocarina of Time as Young Link. After arriving at Goron City, Link must play Saria's Song for Darunia to lift him out of his depression. After doing so, Darunia will give Link the Goron Bracelet, allowing him to lift up Bomb Flowers which he can then use to blow up the giant rock blocking the entrance to Dodongo's Cavern.
It is amongst the items disabled and unusable as Adult Link.
Silver Gauntlets
The Silver Gauntlets originate from Ocarina of Time and are used to lift heavy objects. They can only be used by Adult Link and are one of the treasures inside of the Spirit Temple. Nabooru once wished to obtain the Silver Gauntlets from Young Link but never received them due to being captured by Twinrova before Young Link could deliver them to her. They are later replaced by the Golden Gauntlets.
The Silver Gauntlets are found in the Spirit Temple by Young Link in Ocarina of Time. When Link finishes a series of paths, traps, and defeats the Guardian of the Silver Gauntlets, he arrives outside. There he found a chest which contains the Silver Gauntlets. They replace the greyed-out Goron Bracelet on the pause menu when playing as an adult.
Golden Gauntlets
The Golden Gauntlets are found in the chest in the Shadow Room of Ganon's Castle. They allow Link to pick up the black pillars in the various places in the Castle as well as the one blocking the Great Fairy Fountain at the end of the old castle road. For this reason, it is suggested the Shadow Room be the first one completed in Ganon's Castle. Link will need the Golden Gauntlets to enter the Light Room and to complete the Fire room. They replace the Silver Gauntlets.
Trivia
- In Master Quest, the Golden Gauntlets have relocated from the Shadow Room to the Spirit Room.
