'''Chiko''' is a young girl who appears in {{FPTRR}}. She lives in [[Port Town]] with [[Chiko's Mum|her mother]]. When Tingle meets her, she tells him that she has lost her prized fairy doll which her mother had made for her. When [[Tingle]] returns it, Chiko's Mum will reward him.

Chiko has always wanted to meet a real [[fairy]]. By throwing 20000 [[Rupee]]s into the Fountain in Port Town, the town's guardian fairy will appear. If Tingle speaks to Chiko's Mum, she will reward him with a maximum of 36000 Rupees.
'''''The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition''''' is a compilation of several installments from the [[The Legend of Zelda (Series)|''Zelda'' series]]. This compilation even has its own Player's Guide, which is rare for a promotional product. The full games exist as ROM images, which are run through emulators. This method was previously used in the {{MQ}} release for the GameCube and later for all [[Virtual Console]] releases. The compilation includes the first {{MM}} re-release in the United States.

Chiko and her mother both have the gift of being able to see ghosts.
==Content==

The collection contains four full games:

* {{LOZ}}

* {{AOL}}

* {{OOT}}

* {{MM}}

The following features were also included:

*[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZS3n6yGSVwI A Wind Waker promotional video]

*[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9nb9ktlTv0 The Legend of Zelda: A Retrospective] - an arrangement of scenes from all the games between {{LOZ}} and ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker|The Wind Waker]]''

*A 20-minute playable demo of {{TWW}}, which allows a player to play three different scenarios from the game. There are barriers and limitations to this demo in terms of gameplay; the full version of ''The Wind Waker'' is just under 3 times the size of this demo. The game resets after the end of the 20 minute time limit.

The stories displayed in the two NES games, when START is not pressed, have been rewritten to correct all mistranslations and spelling errors. These changes are retained in the [[Game Boy Advance]] and [[Wii]] [[Virtual Console]] releases.

In Japan, it was available from the Club Nintendo catalog for 500 points. From March 18 to April 30, 2004, it was available for 150 points in combination with {{FSA}}.<ref>{{cite web|quote=Also available in Japan as part of the Club Nintendo membership program for 500 points (or 150 when purchased with the Gamecube version of Legend of Zelda: Four Swords.) |retrieved=July 13, 2013 |url=http://au.ign.com/games/the-legend-of-zelda-collectors-edition/gcn-608263 |title=The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition - GameCube - IGN |site=IGN}}</ref><ref>{{cite web|author=송찬용 |published=February 10, 2004 |retrieved=July 13, 2013 |url=http://www.gamemeca.com/news/view.php?gid=47432 |title=클럽 닌텐도를 통해 게임큐브용 젤다 컬렉션을 GET!::게임정보포탈 넘버원! 게임메카 |site=GameMeca |type=Korean}}</ref>

In North America, the ''Collector's Edition'' was published as promotional gift when buying a new GameCube. Consumers who already owned a GameCube could get the collection by subscribing or renewing a subscription to [[Nintendo Power]], or registering their GameCube and two or more of a selection of four games (''[[smw:Mario Kart: Double Dash!!|Mario Kart: Double Dash!!]]'', ''[[smw:Mario Party 5|Mario Party 5]]'', ''[[smw:Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga|Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga]]'', and ''[[wikipedia:1080° Avalanche|1080° Avalanche]]'').<ref name="NArelease"/><ref>{{cite web|author=Staff |published=November 4, 2003 |retrieved=July 13, 2013 |url=http://au.gamespot.com/news/nintendo-announces-the-legend-of-zelda-collectors-edition-bundle-6078201 |title=Nintendo announces The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition Bundle |site=GameSpot}}</ref>

In Europe, the game was initially part of the GameCube ''[[smw:Mario Kart: Double Dash!!|Mario Kart: Double Dash!!]]'' Limited Edition Pak, a bundle which included a [[Nintendo GameCube]], controller, ''Mario Kart: Double Dash!!'' and ''The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition''.<ref name="EUrelease"/> The collection was made available via Club Nintendo for 4500 stars, but only 1000 copies were distributed in this way. In the United Kingdom, the collection was available to GameCube owners who mailed Nintendo proof of purchase of one of several select GameCube games; eligible titles were ''[[The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker]]'', ''[[fzw:F-Zero GX|F-Zero GX]]'', ''[[smw:Mario Kart: Double Dash!!|Mario Kart: Double Dash!!]]'', ''[[wikipedia:1080° Avalanche|1080° Avalanche]]'', ''[[smw:Mario Party 5|Mario Party 5]]'', and ''[[wikipedia:Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem|Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem]]''. Consumers could also send proof of purchase of two titles from the [[wikipedia:Nintendo Selects|Player's Choice]] range to receive the game.<ref>{{cite web|quote= |author=Justin Calvert |published=January 5, 2004 |retrieved=July 13, 2013 |url=http://au.gamespot.com/news/new-zelda-promotion-for-uk-6086040 |title=New Zelda promotion for UK |site=GameSpot}}</ref>

In Australia, the game was available as a bonus for purchasing two of six select games. In order to receive the collection, consumers had to send a form with personal details completed, the original receipts of the purchase of two of the qualifying games, and the barcode of both games. The promotion ran from March 19, 2004 to June 14, 2004. Eligible games were ''[[smw:Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour|Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour]]'', ''[[wikipedia:1080° Avalanche|1080° Avalanche]]'', ''[[wikipedia:Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles|Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles]]'', ''[[bp:Pokémon Channel|Pokémon Channel]]'', ''[[wikipedia:Tak and the Power of Juju|Tak and the Power of Juju]]'' and ''[[wk:Kirby Air Ride|Kirby Air Ride]]''.<ref name="AUSrelease"/> The promotion was initially only going to run until May 31, 2004, but was later extended.<ref>{{cite web|retrieved=July 13, 2013 |url=http://web.archive.org/web/20040322004733/http://www.nintendo.com.au/zelda/zelda.php |title=nintendo.com.au - The Legend of Zelda® Collector's Edition |site=Nintendo Australia |type=archive}}</ref>

==Problems==

Although the game mentions "sound irregularities" on the disc as a result of emulating ''Majora's Mask'' on the GameCube, no mention was made of another widespread issue. It seems to be common for the game to freeze without warning. Supposedly, this problem can be encountered less if one opts not to use the rumble function. The freezing was supposedly fixed for the Virtual Console release, though players still rarely report freezing. The framerate of the ''Collector's Edition'' version of ''Majora's Mask'' is also lower than the 20 FPS framerate of the original game, as reported by reviewers. The problems could be caused due to ''Majora's Mask''<nowiki>'s</nowiki> reliance on the 4 MB RAM expansion pack. As {{OOT}} does not use the pack, no problems occur in it. ''Majora's Mask'' also presents a high number of graphical issues.

==Trivia==

*The menu music for the compilation is the same as in the ''Master Quest'' release and the first trailer for {{TWW}} in 2001.
