Blue Lynels are recurring Enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][note 1]
Characteristics[]
The Legend of Zelda[]
Blue Lynels are semi-common Enemies that can be found in the northeast portion of Hyrule, mostly in the mountain range. Touching one will take two Hearts from Link. The do not appear horse-like when viewed from the front, but they will start to look like themselves when viewed from the side. Just like Link at full Hearts, Blue Lynels attack by throwing a Sword. It takes 6 hits to defeat it with a wooden sword and they have twice as much collision damage compared to the red ones. When defeated, they can drop one Rupee, a heart, four Bombs or a Clock.

- ↑ Blue Lynels are referred to as Wolf Warriors in the The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages — The Official Nintendo Player's Guide by Nintendo Power.[2] However, as this contradicts the name given in Encyclopedia, this is not considered Canon.
