Blue Lizalfos are recurring Enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.[1]
Characteristics[]
Breath of the Wild[]
Hyrule Compendium Entry
Blue Lizalfos are stronger than green Lizalfos, as they have more health and carry stronger Weapons.[2] Like other Lizalfos, they can be often be found in or around bodies of water, such as Lakes and Rivers, but they can also be found throughout the Gerudo Desert.
Tears of the Kingdom[]
It is likely to contain information of a speculative nature and the content may change dramatically as more information becomes available.
Blue Lizalfos are set to reappear in Tears of the Kingdom, most likely acting the same as in Breath of the Wild. Like many of Ganon's minions in the game, their horns are grown to unnatural levels, resembling a blade.
Other Appearances[]
Cadence of Hyrule[]
In Cadence of Hyrule, Blue Lizalfos are not stronger than Green Lizalfos, but they do wield spears, giving them a much farther reach when they attack. While their movement is bound to the beat of the music, they typically stand still until either Cadence, Link, Yves, or Zelda crosses their path. Once they have the heroes within their sights, they will proceed to charge at them within a straight line, moving on every beat until they collide into something or the heroes stop their attack with their Weapon, stunning them for three beats. While stunned, they are rendered completely defenseless until they regain consciousness on the fourth beat, returning to their original stance to look for targets.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity[]
Blue Lizalfos make their retroactive debut/reappearance in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, first appearing in The Yiga Clan Attacks! Scenario, and appear as common enemies in various levels afterwards. Like regular Lizalfos, they appear in multiple numbers, while some are leaders of Outposts needed to be defeated to capture said outpost. They can drop either a Lizalfos Horn, Talon, and/or Tail when defeated, while the player receives a Lizalfos Trophy for every one defeated.
