Stone Talus is fairly large compared to Link and can deal huge amounts of damage, but it also happens to be a very slow-moving being; as long as Link can stay behind or beneath it, he will be out of harm's way. Stone Talus has four main attacks; it can use its large arm structures to punch and swipe across the ground, dealing heavy damage to the impact area, it can fall forward and crash its entire body into the ground before it, and it can launch large fragments of its rocky frame at Link.
Mijah Rokee Shrine is located in Washa's Bluff. It is initially buried underground and requires certain conditions to be met before it rises and becomes accessible. On top of a tall pillar in Washa's Bluff, Link can find Kass singing a legend about the Shrine. By listening to Kass's song about it, Link will initiate the Shrine Quest "Under a Red Moon".<ref>{{Cite|Oh? Excuse me. Was that a bit rough on the ears? Ah! If he does, Mijah Rokee Shrine will rise from underground, allowing entry. As Link enters the Shrine, he is greeted by the Shrine's Monk, Mijah Rokee.<ref>{{Cite|To you who sets foot in this shrine... I am Mijah Rokee. To defeat Stone Talus, Link must climb onto its body and find the cranial node, usually located on top of the boss, and attack it. After taking damage, Stone Talus will attempt to throw Link off by shaking itself. To make climbing easier, Link can use the Remote Bomb Rune to blast apart Stone Talus' arms, hindering it temporarily. Stone Talus can regenerate lost body parts shortly after losing them. If Link uses the Sheikah Slate to scan the boss, its health will appear as a red bar on the top of the screen.
Themes and Navigation
Mijah Rokee Shrine features a large primary chamber, from which a Guardian Scout rises from a pit once Link gets near. In order to complete the Trial, Link must defeat this Guardian Scout. Once it is defeated, a portcullis leading to Mijah Rokee will rise allowing Link to speak to him. He will give Link a Spirit Orb for completing the Trial,<ref>{{Cite|Your resourcefulness in overcoming this trial speaks to the promise of a hero... Template:Boss Stone Talus is a boss in Breath of the Wild, appearing in various places on Hyrule. It appears to be a cluster of boulders at first, but once approached, assembles into a large golem-like being.

Strategy

Stone Talus is fairly large compared to Link and can deal huge amounts of damage, but it also happens to be a very slow-moving being; as long as Link can stay behind or beneath it, he will be out of harm's way. Stone Talus has four main attacks; it can use its large arm structures to punch and swipe across the ground, dealing heavy damage to the impact area, it can fall forward and crash its entire body into the ground before it, and it can launch large fragments of its rocky frame at Link.

Defeating Stone Talus rewards Link with many rare Ores.
